I find that damage dose NOT increase my one shot abilities with this weapon and it only hinders my effective range. Range is a more useful proficiency to have to play with the guns strengths which is its above average effective range, along with a silence and assassin this weapon can become a stealth mid-range beast of a gun.

aim high??? thats a noob advice for shotguns, they dont have any multiplier for headshots, AIM CENTER MASS, try to get as much of enemy body in your hip fire and use steady aim, best way to go! :)

The hitmarkers arent just about range it is obviously how many pellets you connect with so if your crosshairs are right on an enemy with mags and range you will one and two shot kill at insane range. anyone who complains just dosent have skill. (not you by the way you seem to do fine :) )

@rhysy111 Most of the early proficiencies don't help the shotties, but Focus doesn't take very long to get, and it's really good cause if somebody is shooting you, their bullets wont mess your aim up... and aim is the most important thing with shotties.

Shotgun class always use specialist with hard-line, then use extreme con as first perk and chose sleight of hand for your 1St kill streak. all red perks are useless for a shot gunner so go for blue :D you'll be a lot more successful

Extended mags adds 50% more pellets to your shptgun so the usas can shoot ten pellets and with range you get more reliable one shot

Tmartn did a vid showing how much more effective range was than damage, especially w/ this shotty having the highest or 2nd highest damage in it's class, the damage profficiency and the suppressor aren't exactly helping it. Just a suggestion, Range w/ extended mags.

@urveryfat umm its not incorrect, it even says on MW3 its full auto. Very slow rate of fire, between 5-8 seconds between shots. Try it
