Ive been using the input on my mac as well as its camera until I get ahold of a decent camcorder, the vid quality isnt fantastic but the sound isnt absolutely terrible either. Especially in the last couple vids I took care of the peaking pretty well. Iv never tried to record audio with a pc but plugging directly in and using it to record could turn out good perhaps. Maybe it would take a few test runs to get the parameters the way you like but the sound could be epic eventually :D
@oliverkiss2008 I was only talking about using a computer for recording vid for the most part I guess. Its true that when I make a video that I record audio with the computer. On the other hand when Im recording a mix for a demo or a mix compilation I use a Tascam DR 100. The closest thing to Traktor I use atm is the Pioneer version with the DDJ-T1. Ill have a good camcorder soon so my particular issue wont persist for much longer.
@oliverkiss2008 Happy New Year man, thanx! I have used Traktor 2 and really liked it. I am definitely a Traktor and not Serato kinda guy. That will be what I move towards should I become involved in using programs regularly. Keep on rockin'!
nice mix bro your setup rocks! should have recorded that inside of Traktor. I now record internally to avoid external noises. I like your mix! and also the DJM800 of yours is one of the best!
@DJKroNiXTV hey thanks man... yeah they hold the pitch pretty exactly. i prefer the tt-x instead the 1210´s because it´s so much easyer to get two tracks in sync with the digital display. you always exactly know where you are with your fader... because they are the first generation you can´t adjust the torque. i think normaly it´s about 5,4kg...
how much setting up was needed for the x1 with scratch pro? did u just plug it in and you were all set? or did you need to map and install driver? PLEASE let me know!
@mdecasperis95 the only thing you need to do is to install the driver and then run the the setup in traktor where you can choose the x1 as controller. thats all you need to do....
@ice2shit with the external soundcard from native instruments. the timecode vinyls sends midi signals over the soundcard... hope this was what you wanted to know
hey, using the RCA to 8mm connect the BOOTH out on ur mixer, to the microphone input on ur laptop, and use a 3rd party program to record, i use AUDACITY, sound quality is gona be crisp that way
nice mix, ime a X1 user myself, keep up the good work!!
@lenkadj on the mixer there is a knob called, BOOTH Level, go like 40% with it, or lower, depending on the software setup cuz u can change the level of the input line, so either do it on the mixer itself or in the software but mixer is easier
how much does it cost??

Why don't you use the built in recording function from the Traktor software?

here's a hint... try ripping the audio directly into your PC any you may just get a few less dislikes.
