Peter Wolf is force of nature...He, Geils, Magic Dick and the boys--and two luscious gurls--taking over "Pine Knob" once again 8/21/2010. Like the old days--when they would sellout 6-nights in a row. I give KR credit--he just got owned a massive little bit--but he "gets it", which I give him credit for.

Peter Wolf is still awesome after all these years. How about a J. Geils Band reunion??
I saw the band a couple of times at Cleveland venues during their height in the late 1970s and early 1980s - awesome every time!!!
J. Geils Band belongs in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - write and let your opinion be heard!!!!!

Get a clue ruddster21, if you knew anything about Kid Rock you'd know he knows exactly where music came from and who makes the best of it (and yes his "band" knows it also)...that is why he loves Peter Wolf. Duh.

My First concert experience was in 1975 in Dallas,Tx. Opening act was Head East followed by Foghat. The headliner was some band from Boston who I had never heard of. 17 years old, 7th row dead center on the floor, sitting right next to Fay Dunaway. BEST FN show I have ever seen! J GEILS.

Kudos to Kid Rock for bringing back this legend! The J. Geils Band needs to do another tour and show the kids what real energy is all about.
