Pintailed Whydah or Vidua Macroura have never destroyed any of the nests in the cage. He sings beautifuly and he only is active toward his mate.
The birds have managed to control their own breeding to their specific seasons. The rest of the year they rest. Its amazing. I only have two zebra finch males in the cage now, it was to disruptive catching all the babies so often. I still have them all just in a smaller flight cage.
WOW, you definatly care for your birds! Let this be an example to all small bird owners that even the smallest of birds need toys, space and lots of love!
Great aviary. Although, I am against breeding birds because they are becoming disposable pets. There is definitely a great need for rescue, but great aviary.
You are wrong about that. Breeding birds helps the species to survive. A good example is the gouldian finch. This bird is near to extinction, only 2000 birds are living in the wild in Australia but thanks to many breeders the specie is safe because in captivity there are thousands of specimens. I believe that captive breeding is a way to preserve species. Serious breeders like me take a lot of care for our birds and I am sure my birds are happier in my aviary than in the wild. Nice aviary busy
Super , fajny pomysł i realizacja ... Pięknie urządzony krainy ptaków.
