  • Is this the same Doug Wead who is now Ron Pauls campaign manager? I really like Ron Pauls message, and honesty to true American values that used the make the USA respected in the world.

  • Reagan was nothing more than an actor that the right wing fascists used as a mouthpiece to further their evil ways. Stop drooling over him. Ron Paul is a libertarian who is even worse than Reagan. Ignorance kills....

  • Ron Paul 2012!

  • I miss Reagan. And I miss his generosity and kindness to others. His willingness to compliment others.

  • "Trees cause more pollution than automobiles." - Ronald Reagan

"I don't worry about the deficit." - Ronald Reagan

"We did not, repeat did not, trade arms for hostages." - Ronald Reagan (after he was caught trading missiles for hostages with the Iranian ayatollahs)

Most of our current problems with terrorism are the result of Reagan's idiotic policy of arming Islamic extremists and coddling murderous dictators.

  • Reagan always had good things to say about people. Remember his 11th commandment? Compare that to candidates in both parties. Even sitting presidents now take personal shots at people. And this is so cool to hear him brag on Doug Wead too. I love this.

  • Reagan should be on Mt. Rushmore

  • Reagan is missed.

  • Reagan was a classy guy.

  • His love of Nancy was endearing and he was a gentleman, this segment shows that. I like the way he honored others all the time.

  • Thank you for giving a voice to many who have none.

  • ah, the man responsible for the shit-hole this country has become, the man that had hoped the majority of us would be happy to eat ketchup for breakfast, lunch & dinner, the REAL creep responsible for sending not just gammaw, but ALL of us to deathcamps, just so his budz in big biz could reap higher, gluttonous profits, the man that said SCREW the middle & working class along WITH the poor, the man that put an asses face on our country THERE'S the man deserving of the hitler mustache.

  • I personally see this speaker in Astana. Great, great speech.

  • I miss Reagan. Big time.

  • I attended the recent Charity Awards Dinner in DC; and I was impressed learning about the charitable work Doug Wead has so sacrificially made to make a difference in the world! Hats off to you!

  • Doug Wead has been a great inspiration for me personally and one of the main reason why I have made significant contributions to hunger relief over the years. Thanks doug... keep leading the charge!

  • President Reagan had many good things to say about Doug Wead.

  • people affecting change, thru Charuty

  • Doug is a true American hero, he does what he does not for the accolades, he does it because it's the right thing to do. What a different world we would live in, if we all did this

  • The Charity Awards tell the real story of Americans!

  • Two of the most amazing people of all time!

  • Look for me at this year's Charity Awards Dinner.

I am honored to go keeping in mind the great men and women who have gone before me.

  • When compared to LBJ, Nixon, Reagan Bush Sr., Clinton George W and Oboma, I cannot figure which one is the biggest criminal. But George Herbert Walker Bush's birth day is 6+6+6

  • Reagan was never seen in his time as measured and circumspect but my, compared to the the leaders since, he was far more mature.

  • And no finefilth your posts are hate speech, dont try to lie yet again

  • he became an actor and an excellent public speaker.

He was with out equal in giving a great speech.

  • Ronald Reagan grew up in Illinois. His father was a shoe salesman. When he was very young, his mother read to him, moving her finger under the words as she read aloud. He taught himself to read by looking at the words as she read, and by the time he was five years old he could read the newspaper. His mother was an amateur actress performing onstage in local productions. She encouraged her boys to participate in the theater and public readings. These experiences served him well in later life as

  • In Budapest in 1994, 15,000 people give applaud to Mr. Wead for 30 minutes after speech, still standing. announceer say, Mr. Wead is on the airplane home now and still applause. Audience very emotional. He give Hungary hope.

One more board we are going to carpet bomb you on LOL ^_^

I'm following you and cleaning your filth from the world

  • Reagan is respected here in Russia. The senior Bush even a little more. Not the young one at all. But Doug Wead fills coliseums here.

  • Reagan was a class act. And he was loyal to the people who sacrificed so much for the cause. He was a giver, not a taker.

  • The next person Reagan was honoring was his wife, who did so much for drug rehab.

  • Two favorite speakers. I heard Doug Wead many times in Korea. He has given a lot of peole hope.

  • Where was this? Does anyone know? Reagan sounds so cool. Definetly a radio voice.

  • I was a lot younger during the Reagan years but he seemed to be much less angry and partisan and bitter about life than todays politicians and journalists. Or am I missing something? And he was always giving credit and honor to other people. I like the way he honored and respected his wife in public.

  • Interesting segment to me. Parts of this were shown in the 1992 congressional race in Arizona and our newly left leaning newspaper didnt like it. Reagan didnt hand out praise lightly.

  • It is nice to remember a time when we had presidents with class.

  • Doug have a really good speech at the Ron Paul rally!

  • Doug Wead, presidential advisor, motivational speaker, bestselling author and historian will be speaking at a Ron Paul event.

Check event schedule for details Aug. 31st - Sept. 2nd, 2008.

Do a Google search for Rally for the Republic for details.

Other speakers are Jesse Ventura, Rockie Lynne, Tucker Carlson, Gary Johnson, Barry Goldwater Jr., Bruce Fein, Grover Norquist, Adam Curry, Aimee Allen, Marc Scibilia, Rick Ellis and Thomas Woods.

  • I greatly admire Ronald Reagan and Doug Wead, thank you for taking the time to share this video. Glen Woodfin

  • It's so good to see the gipper alive again and as usual his positive words of wisdom are so welcome in today's world of dark times. And he couldn't have picked a better guy to mention - Doug Wead is a great author and the best presidential historian out there!
