man, didnt even realize these guys were from the peg, this is the only song i really know of thiers unless ive heard more and just havent put the band to the song. Support local artists, winnipeg has some of the best unknown talent
I figure only winnipeggers will recognize the 'golden boy' on the dome of the manitoba legislature building, right? I miss the old town and the best pub bands in the world
This song came out around the same time Emotional rescue by the stones came out, also streethearts under my thumb, and april wines i like to rock...What a rockin year 1980 was man.
How is Lou doing these days. Back in the old days, lou was one of the BEST, and I went and watched them every chance I got. Their band always attracted the good looking ladies!
Going back! All the way back. Sure brings back memories of driving on Portage with the windows down and the music blasting! Thanks for putting this up.
I bought this album when it came out, and I appear to be the only American who has ever heard of these guys...I still love this...thanks for posting it and sharing!
Remember this song on local campus radio in 2000. They always used to play it Saturday morning. There was no announcement of the title or artist though.
Nine years later I hear the song and the title on 92.9 KICK-FM.
A Thunder Bay boy....I spent my younger years there....So, they call the old Uptown the Inntowner now...lol... I see during my last visit that they tore down my old watering hole...The Crest on Red River Road...good times.
This was/is a great song. It has to be 25 years since I heard it. Gotta love YouTube for shit like this. Thought of it and there it was. Thanks for uploading.
Going to see The Pumps/Orphan tonight at The Oak in tonight, gonna be a great time!!

The guys still go around and play the occasional show in Winnipeg. Put out a CD of their big hits a few (3-4?)years ago.
