  • I think this song has been viewed 125,000 times by 1,150 people having it on repeat feeling the same way the guy singing was feeling wen he wrote this song. Boy did he really hit it on the money with this one.

  • PUT ARTHUR LEE IN THE ROCK N ROLL HALL OF FAME NOW ! ! ! HE INFLUENCED MANY INCLUDING JIM MORRISON WHO WORSHIPPED ARTHUR LEE ! ! !

  • I call myself a music lover but I cant lie only reason I heard this song was because of the movie High Fidelity. This is a great under appreciated song.

  • Dandroid: I love your passion. I love this song, and FOUR SAIL is my favorite album from the era. The painful stalking reference is from an on-line review I read years ago.

I just finished reading FOREVER CHANGES: Arthur Lee and The Book of Love. He fought demons constantly. If he had dropped the anti-touring vibe with the release of FOUR SAIL, the album would have been placed much higher in the minds of fans and radio programmers. Arthur was a genius, but he was his own worst enemy.

  • This is a disturbing-but-great song about stalking -- it segues well with EVERY BREATH YOU TAKE (Police).

A perfect conclusion to one of the most overlooked albums in rock, FOUR SAIL. Arthur went from an orchestral masterpiece to the best guitar quartet album anyone could create. He literally threw the album together following the group meltdown from FOREVER CHANGES. Even though radio and industry big wigs missed it, Arthur found three amazing musicians, brought the perfect songs, and WOW.

  • @radioPete444 I think it's a bit miserable to say it's about stalking........it's about L O V E my friend...

  • High Fidelity! :D

I can't belive all these years I didn't know who sang this song...and it was LOVE!

  • Sometimes melody is water...

  • Everybody has a lost love. Thanks for this song. Great!!!

  • RIP Arthur Lee ! You are missed but your music lives on !

  • Like many Love productions, this is a thing of genuine, rare beauty.

Thanks for putting it up Mr/Mrs Yellow TV.

    Lovely sound. Round and warm.

  • Nice #Stereo :) #LOVE

  • High Fidelity!

  • very good song. love it!

  • Love this song ... Ok all the musicians out there but aren't the chord changes (C, E7, Am, C7, F, G) in the verse reminiscent of McCartney's 'You Never Give Me Your Money' on Abbey Road (which in turn influence the opening piano chords on Elton John's Goodbey Yello Brick Road). Tell me I'm not imagining this? Trust McCartney to be influenced by a cool cat like Arthur Lee.

  • Love was first brought to my attention around 1973 or 1974. It wasn`t pardon the pun love at first hear but they certainly grew on me. I wasn`t sure what to make of them when I first heard them but I kinda liked them to the point that about 20 years later I proclaimed them my favouite band of the 60`s and maybe my favourite band of all time. Ivè got all of their albums and Forever Changes is a masterpiece.

  • Love this song because of High Fidelity :). Thanks to that movie I know this song.

  • I think this is Love's greatest song... It's emotional :)

  • wonderful !

  • man i just found this song yesterday and i can't stop listening to it, is that good!

  • beautiful song, great band.

  • Aww, man, I love this song. It kind of makes me teary-eyed though; the song and the fact that it's ridiculously underrated. :-(

  • Great song that not too many people know about. That makes it all the better.

  • This song played on my turntable, around the clock, when my grandfather died -- still chokes me up. <3 Love.

  • This has always been a favorite of mine. Arthur was and still is DA MAN!!! R.I.P. AL!

  • @jt20042 Is he dead? I read an interview with him in Goldmine not long ago.

  • @49kasey Arthur Lee passed away from a form of leukemia in 2006, but the music lives on!

  • Love was an excellent band with many excellent songs. Unfortunately they never had the big hit that would have made them major stars.

  • i thought this song was about a Love roadie that did tons of heroin and died of an overdose, but he addresses a "Girl" in the lyrics... hm.
