awesome work guys, just a question there really is a happy medium when it comes to, too little and to much back pressure on an internal combustion engine. there are so many factors that come into play, the blowdown theory, scavenging and such, collector size, primary diameter.. when you guys are mocking up a system, do you take into consideration all of these. some other companies make primaries and call it a day which isnt really doing any good
@biffnacid The design of both headers and exhausts utilize a combination of theoretical design criteria developed over hundreds of tests performed on street and race applications. Stainless Works uses our models developed from this empirical data as the initial basis for our designs. Vehicle space requirements often impose considerable restrictions on these designs. In addition, we normally design headers to maximize the tube size we can fit within the constraints of vehicle space, (cont)
@biffnacid while considering needs for increased engine performance modifications. (Sometimes will design headers with larger primary tubes for stock applications, allowing for future performance adders.) For exhausts, achieving the right sound without drone is a key design criteria, which greatly influences the final product. So there really is much more to header and exhaust design than simply fitting tubes in a space.
Just put a deposit down on the headers for my 03 crown vic from you guys through chris from ADTR.NET and crownvic.net look foward to seeing these masterpieces in person!
robotic tig running pulse, now thats pretty sweet. The fronious machine we have at my shop does that too, but that is one advanced lookin robot! Very impressed fellas, VERY impressed.
