He can claim to be popera as much as he wants but he sings some pretty crappy "opera" and some pretty serious "pop". His voice is beautiful on some songs, but it is NOT popera, it's just easy listening.

where are you from. i just checke dout his track listing on some of his albums. it seems that when he choses english songs, old irish one's are his favorite. they suit his voice.

I'm from Mexico... and yes, he usually choose english songs, and some classics... but also, he sings some pop songs (Madonna & Celine Dion are his favorites)... he really knows how to choose his songs, because he knows his voice ^^... but in his last album, he chose some Korean traditional songs, because he wants that the people know his feeling & love toward his country ^^...
