i used to play wow aswell, but i got so damn sick of all the grinding for gear and all the idiots so i changed to this game and i have to say i love it, much better imo. pvp trough the whole game.
yes you can respec....it gets more expensive around level 26 when its 2g for a respec but the cost is based on how many points you have so it doesnt increase after you respec a bunch.....at least im pretty sure that is how it works because i have done a lot of respecing on my Warrior Priest
I think that White Lion is a surviver class in general and path of the guardian is the way to go. You are not completly gimped with your axe. Afterall the class name is White lion and wouldnt it be best to increase your pet the most? Pets are general already to weak :P.
Just wondering, did you level all the way through with Guardian spec? Because I'm around level 25 at the moment and I've been stacking str, going with Axeman spec, but after watching your video and the brutal amount of hits and damage that you can dish out, I really wanna try out guardian spec to level.
I'm guessing you just stacked toughness and wounds and let your lion do the majority of the damage output?
I did, but Guardian is pretty painful at the lower levels. It really needs a lot of toughness, and some of the later abilities before it starts to shine (basically the spec almost completely relies on pet speed, brutal pounce, throat rip and leonine frenzy, at least for RvR). The difference between full Guardian trained-to-kill and trained-to-threaten pet damage is *huge* though.
Stacking toughness is the way to go, but you'll probably end up in the RvR sets anyway.
Hrm - it ain't that great. Sure, there are things you can do to compensate a little (loner tactic gives +25% damage if you don't have your pet out), but the class is really built around your pet.
There are good points (twice the targets for enemy to worry about, really fast attacks hurt casters more etc) and bad points (heavy reliance on pet) to this. Fun, and definitely a solid class, but if you don't want a pet, you'd be best advised to roll something else.
Oh, and obviously Path of the Axeman is more competitive without the pet than the other two paths are (especially Guardian). None will completely match a Marauder without the pet though.
Nice, Love it.

Engineer is more like defensive dps than the insane damage maker.. Allthough it has great AoE dots and lost of disturb abilities. Love it aswell :)
BW is more effective on single target but against many engineer does more dmg!

the difference is huge? in which one's favor for ttt or ttk?
dongster3 3 years ago
ttk does considerably more damage than ttt. Night and day.

That was a long fight. Nice to see some White Lions in action.

I think guardian spec will be the way to go.
It will cause people to hesitate or freeze for a few secs, since you dont really know which target to go after? You? or Your Lion?
jwb0711 3 years ago
I've enjoyed it, yeah. People naturally go after the player and ignore the pet - and that plays right into a Guardian specced WL's strengths.

How is the White Lion dps with just axe? say vs a marauder?
