There was never a ceasefire because Hamas has been firing rockets on Israel since 2001. Almost 10,000 rockets deliberately targeted on civilian areas like schools, community centers, malls, etc.

Hamas has caused dozens of deaths, hundreds of injuries, and has caused hundreds of thousands of innocent people to live in fear of their own life.

Even after the Gaza war, Hamas continued to fire rockets. These rocket attacks continue until today.
