Hey, probably it's a stupid question, but here it is: Do I always have to play an E-Drumset with headphones? Or are there some speakers like an E-Piano has. Thanks in advance.
@Voodomania Hey...no you can put them on any speakers .....there is a yamaha drum sound system to buy....but it will work fine with some other speakers... :P
Is the Yamaha DTX 500K okay to be fitted with a double bass pedal, I have had a Yamaha Xplorer before and I have just ordered this kit and was just curious.. the Xplorer kick pad was too small so it made double bass really flimsy.
@GameOverYouLose93 ..hi...you can put the duble bass but it wont be great...you will able to play it but the fell is very bad...depend wich model of dtxplorer you have(old(small bass drum pad))...............(new (same pad as in the yamaha dtx500k)....but if you have old yamaha pad its probably too small......then this wil be great for you....
Im thinking about buying this kit. is it decent? can you sample sounds with it ? and can you layer, record and playback patterns on it?? (record your own rhythms). Are the jam trax good and cover a wide range of music generes to play to?? any info would be appreciated. it looks and sounds pretty good. i am in the process of remodeling my studio and my acoustic drums are in cases, this kit looks like i could set it up in my bedroom. that would be cool !!! P.S. Nice playing too!!
@orion756 hi...thanks...first my english is very bad but i hope you will understand me..you have many question so lets goo....first of all do not buy alesis.... its very good electronic drum but yamaha is better second if you have roland dealers go and buy roland....way.? becuse its better maybe it is a little more money but you relly see the difference......yes you can record and there is a wide range od music to play...pop rock metal regge funky jazz hip hop and still...good drums...i think...
@adrumer100 Thanks for your kind advice, I bought a Roland V drum kit TD4K yesterday. A little bit more money but worth it !! I like the small size so i can move it around the house, and it sounds great too. there are no jam tracks on its brainbox, but my mp3 player fixes that problem. Happy Drumming
thx for the upload, too bad it's played along elevator / supermarket music.

Nice! Is the dtx500k on your video all included or do you have to buy more parts separately?
