Do you have any properties near Nantes? A good friend of mine is from there and I've visited many times and always wanted to find out about what you can get for your money in that area.
Cost of living probably around the same, however, you'll get a lot more property / land for your money, and a safe investment . The added bonus of course is a fantastic lifestyle, great food, cheap wine, four 'proper' seasons, fantastic history and culture ... I could go on!

Wow! Makes me seriously want to move to France! Wondering how much cheaper the cost of living is compared to the UK though. Any ideas?
