I respect Republican ideals and principles. I also respect Ann Coulter's political insights, and her willingness to take stands against dishonest liberals such as John Edwards. No, I don't think McCain would have been a good president. He is far too liberal and politically driven. He had an entitlement mentality about the presidency, but he was the wrong guy. The only reason I voted for him was that he was much better than Obama. Just look at how "Mr change" has filled his cabinet with party line mainstream Democrats that are entrenched Washington establishment types. Where's the change?

To back this up, look at Obama's nominations for Treasury Secretary and Health Secretary. Both Timothy Geithner and Tom Daschle are guilty of criminal tax evasion, but Obama stands by them anyway. His response to Tom Daschle's failure to pay over $120,000 in taxes was "nobody's perfect". LOL, is this how Obama follows through on his pledge to clean up Washington? It seems so. So far all Obama has shown is that he's just another politician who puts repaying favors as his top priority.

Sarah Palin doesn't have to be a genius. She's simply is a bright and talented woman with the ability to reason through a political discussion. This is what won conservatives over. After a decade of putting up with dishonest, deceitful dolts like Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, etc, we needed a change. We got that with Sarah Palin. She's been a Governor and has much more credibility through that office than Hillary did as a Senator. It's in comparisons like this that Sarah really shines.
