  • good bass amp?

  • @okok103 Its a guitar amp, so bad bass amp.

  • dyna amp is distorsion ?

  • @yellowpwns97 Yes, its responsive to your picking.

  • i would like to ask if there is any way to modify this amplifier and use it as a power amplifier and connect it with a cabinet

  • @rbnephos Yes, you need a speaker out jack

    singlecoil(dot)com/frmset(dot)html

  • @itsGoboboy thank you

  • is all the buzz from ur pickups?

  • I have a BIG question should I buy the new roland 40xl or the vox vt40+ ??????? Please help me Christmas is near and I can hardly sleep at night because this question echoes in my mind......

  • @metalicman57200 vox is a great amp.

  • is this a good upgrade from the Laney LX20r which i absolutely hate ?

  • Doesn't sound like it's worth 150-250 bucks.

I'm just gonna save up for the 80x.

  • the cube20x has overdrive and distortion (these are the standard overdrive and distortion by boss, aren't they?), what are the overdrive and distortion effects on the cube 30x? I'm a little bit confused, because I just want to have the standard distortion/overdrive on an amp (like the cube 20x), but I want a more powerful amp (like the cube 30x). Is it possible to get the sounds of the cube 20x, using the effects on the cube30x?

  • i used this amp for school and i got to say its for the win

  • dude I just bought this and its beautifle cool setting and effects but I have a problems when I play it it sounds to low I think its because my cable that connects the guitar with the amp is cutted in a little section or is it my guitar? ( Its a Peavy Rockmaster starter guitar) or is it the strings?

  • @slorr55

I had the same, i bought a new cable and everything went fine :) I don't say it works, it just did with me. ;)

  • @slorr55 start with a good lead. you will be surprised how much difference it can make.

  • I just ordered a Line 6 Spider IV 75 watts.... this will be my secnd amp, dont have enough for a descent tube amp so I just went for a solid state :/

What would u guys say is the best affordable solid state for metal?

    Line 6 Spider

    Roland Cube

    Marshall MG

    Vox VT

    Peavey Vypyr

I hope I made the right choice :s

  • @kalvin1703 Cube 80x!! xD

  • i prefer vox over marshall

  • hey everyone i was wondering if i should get this amp?, i went from a marshall g10. mk II (10 watt) to a peavey vypyr 15w (broke down on me under 3 months :/ ) so no i been looking at amps and i saw a micro cube and was shocked by the sound, i wanted to know if i should get this, (not much money btw) and i play mostly metal and sometimes pink floyd stuff :], i found a guy selling it for 100 so i wanted to know from all of you, thanks

  • this is a good sturdy amp i think it will be good

  • Ok guys, i need some help deciding what amp to buy......upgrading from a cube 15x (most limited, muddy, toneless amp i have ever played).

    Thinking of getting roland 30x (much improvement over 15x?)/fender g-dec 30/vox vt30/ marshall avt50.

My style is varied, but metal, hard rock and punk are my main genres. I use an epi les paul standard (mine plays like a dream xD )

  • If this would be your second amp, I would save up and buy a tube amp. This roland cube is the amp I had before my half stack, and before my roland I had small startup amps. The cube series is one of the best series of solid state amps. The next best thing is a tube amp. I think you should by maybe a Marshall JCM 900 combo.

  • @itsGoboboy agree jcm 900 is great.

  • @stuiehuntie Save and get a tube would be wise. Cube 30x have not so bad tones, but when it comes to get that treble off... Pain in the ass. It's also not that easy to have a good distortion. The distortion lacks the feel of tube. Effects are not that bad, but pretty hard to adjust well and it's nothing to go running naked outside. I'll say you better just saving and buy something more expensive and better.

  • @stuiehuntie I think you should buy Vox vt30 because it has a tube feel and it has a great variety of sounds which is good because you are a guitar player who likes to play all kinds of genre

  • is it good for small gigs? e.g. bars and pubs? halls?

  • sounds good but im not a big fan of it i much prefer my marshall

  • do u thin i should go for a marshall mg50fx

  • does this amp has any tubes?

  • No, its solid state

  • thx

  • i have a strat squier single coil.. do u think it's a good amp for a strat single coil?

  • You cannot go wrong with this amp. its one of the best solid state amps. You wont really have trouble with single coils on just a small solid state amp.

  • And do you think this amp is better than the marshall mg30fx? i don't know which to buy!

  • I love marshalls but I have not heard good things about the MG series. If you want a start up amp this is the one to buy. I would not buy a solid state half stack for a start up amp.

  • Go for this one. My BC Rich Jr. V (stock pickups) right into this amp is orgasmic. I dont play anything other than metal im not going to vouch for anything els but the distortion is downright amazing. Way way better than the marshall 30dfx, my first one. Again, not gonna vouch for anything but the overdrive channel and if you EQ you can get it decent but only with a pedal. That is my experience with it.

  • ok thx for comment but i don't play metal. and thats not the mg30dfx but the mg30fx, the new one. but i will try both in my mag! i'll see what's the better one for my style of music!

  • Oh ok. Well i would say dont buy any small marshall, cuz that's not what makes them famous. Plus ( I dont play clean) they have a bad reputation for clean tones, although i got a sweet sounding muddy blues sound on my 30W but meh, What do i know.

  • ok thx i think i'll buy the roland 30 then!

  • You definitely wont be dissapointed its an amazing little amp. and if your drummers rather quiet one its not bad to play along with him

  • @Maxime365 PLS dont buy the mg30fx, i bought it and sell it again because it sounds crap.

Now i have a Vox Vt50 and its amazing.

  • I've had this amp for 3 years and hardly ever used it. If you like what you hear in this video you should buy it, it's one of the best mod amps out there. If it hurts your ears (like mine), get a "real" amp. My money went wasted on this one.

  • a one question my 30x hit whit the wall what´s going to happend? it will be to descompose?

  • Brit Combo sounds shitty to me =( very shitty

  • dude, im gonna buy one these days, does it buzz a lot? like a marshall?

  • No mine doesnt buzz at all, not even a little zoom :p

  • Whats the difference betwen the Roland Cube 30, and the Roland Cube 30X??

    Thank you.

  • I dont know, I dont think that such a cube 30 exists, but people tell me otherwise, why dont you ask them.

  • The Cube 30 exists. It was the previous model of this amp. The Cube 30x moved some features found on the Micro Cube (Although the Tuner on the Micro Cube was just a tuning fork) and the discontinued Cube 60 to the Cube 30, and so was renamed the Cube 30x. The difference between the Cube 30 and the Cube 30x are these features:

    Dyna-Amp

    Power Squeezer

    Tuner

  • it exists only the 30 x they shortet the word i think.

  • dude go for a line 6 really its your best bet or peavy

  • I hope you are kidding... if not then you are retarded coz Line 6 Spider III is the worst thing you can buy.. okay not the worst thing (coz that spot is taken up by Marshall MGs).. but near.

  • in your opinion, alot of other people like them.

  • no drive amps are worse. they are so bad you mightnt have even heard of em

  • I have the same amp

  • so no one cares
