  • And one more thing, why not keep your expensive breakable holiday ornaments in your closet and leave out simple, everyday, inexpensive secular oraments? It seems reasonable, and I'm sure Martha Stewart shows how to make some in one of her episodes. Bottom line: think smart, think cheap, let the cats enjoy breaking things you don't care about. You can hang the expensive ones you care about where they'll never find it. In your hearts. Or a locked bedroom, whatever works.

  • hehe I cant laugh too much because i used to live and drink like you do...

  • My cats never do this, because i taught them to break intruders necks instead of expensive breakable holiday figurines. It's useful, saves money on home security, and they enjoy it too. Merry Christmas!

  • Make sure that both cats have their own breakable Christmas ornaments so there aren't any territorial problems

  • 1. Don't leave figurines out when it isn't the holidays.

    2. Tell the cat in it's own language (unless it speaks esperanto) to stop exploring your breakable holiday figurines. Hopefully it'll appreciate the bluntness of your request.

3.make sure they are the unbreakable.

    4. Don't tell the cats your figurines are breakable. If you do, they will want to break them.

    5. Don't tell the cat what time of the year it is. This will confuse and arouse the cat, so be careful.

    Good Luck, meow meow!

  • My cats do this all of the time. They especially like to knock off my Christmas tree ornaments!
