And Adam, you did a fantastic job on this. We've only met once, but I feel like I've met a celebrity now. Good luck with everything you're doing! Can't wait to see you make it big!
I'm looking for the sheet music of the Broadway recording version that Hunter Foster sang. I have the original score but many or the embellishments are quite different. Does anyone here know where I could find it?
I really hope someone will agree with me on this, but I am absolutely OBSESSED with Bobby's riff on the word "sun" at 0:34. It's so fluid! Man, he's really good.
It's strange that the Bobby didn't do the last note. His note on "gladness" in "Follow Your Heart" is not that much lower than this note, and he belted it out and it sounded great. Strange.
this was the only bobby i saw besides the original to hit a note that was high, the rest skipped that note and it wasnt the best option to skip it in some cases...
@torisohsostylin It definitely wasn't a matter of Adam not hitting it because he couldn't. He did some nights, and some nights he didn't. It was the director's choice.
Bobby clearly was on the brink of losing his voice. Perhaps all the riffing had something to do with it? Too bad he couldn't hit the high A at the end, but good cover.
the only problems are that the chorus isnt loud enough and that it seemed like you guys totally rushed through the gospel part and the end was great! it was cool to see another relationship with bobby.
pretty good, his runs are awesome and i love how he does the character, but i still prefer it with a tenor as bobby so he can belt that high C near the end. They covered that pretty well though, great stuff.
The note at the VERY end is an A, rollthun, but i'm talking about the ad-lib section...the score has a high c written in and most bobby's go up to it during that section. The bobby in the original soundtrack does a great job of it, check it out.
I wish i could have seen this production live. Seems like you guys did great. It was funny and you guys had a great set as well. is this High school,College or Professional?
just amammmmzingggg."i know." so good. great production!

Baylor University in Waco Texas.
It's a great college.
I don't know about the voice, or musical theatre programs (which appear to be quite strong), but I know the band program is excellent.

ehh...I don't like the Bobby in this one.
He's too...slouchy and homely. Bobby STRONG! The guy should be completely up straight and belting it!

I thought Bobby was awesome. He took on the role in a completely different way. It was refreshing!
