@TheMrSjapke Wie heeft het tegendeel beweert? Je kan best HnR'n, de vraag is alleen hoe efficiënt het op een Ranger is met ground-DoT skills. Het enige wat je hebt is Ice Arrow, wat op zicht wel gaat, en dan moet je gedwongen een ground-DoT casten i.v.m. je cooldown. HnR op een elementor is simpelweg veel efficienter. Maar als je anders niet kunt overleven, moet je dat zeker doen.

Persoonlijk heb ik het nooit gedaan, maar laat dat je niet afschrikken.

@dak00nuku It's not "mandatory" as you have to do a quest to turn master. It's very simple, at lv120 99.99% you will no longer receive any exp, instead you are able to do the master quest. If you don't do it, you'll stay lv120 99.99% for ever. If you do it, you're lv60-M, able to level to lv120-M 99.99%. That's the point the hero quest is available. As hero you can level behind lv121 (130 I believe?)

@zazuke94 Because I was slowly building towards my hero build to not have to use a restat. By that time, leveling over lv121-Hero wasn't even close to arrival, so my build was about 70STA rest DEX at hero for the sake of Tower Siege. Now, you'd want more DEX, as you can level to like 130-Hero now?

Please note:

That's not a good AoE build in PvM. It's just good for PvP / Tower Siege where you need some more HP than you'd have with many-DEX build.

I've been full-dex at the lower levels, but at the higher levels some STA will be needed, as they will suddenly be hitting much more damage. Especially the lv125 monsters... They're hardly possible to AoE.

Turn on the highest quality - check EXP-bar before AoE - check EXP-bar after AoE and you know it. Furthermore, you might want to pause the vid to read it, as pausing makes it easier to read for some reason.

As a dex character, you'll automatically do quite some crits.

My set was awakened with 30% ADoCH, but that was coincidence. Got the 2 awakenings (2x 15%) in 1 try so... I kept them.

As AoE, crit/adoch is worthless, but later, when you want to PvP, you're gonna need the crit/adoch. In fact, then you're going to rely on 1on1.

KeydosBro777, aibatt ranger, hits 9k (no link / no charge) in PvP and he can 3-hit captain asuras 1on1 (no charge / with 180% link) for example. But his gear is >40b.

boots speed (but certain values. 34%, 38% and 50% don't give arrowglitch. (34% = 30% (lv20 quickstep) + 4% awakening/pierce, 38% = 30% (lv20 quickstep) + 8% awakening/pierce and 50% = 30% (lv20 quickstep) + 10% (speedcloak) + 10% awakening/pierce).

These values work with and without fast walker, so they're recommended.

ATT is the only pierce to go for. I'm sorry for those people saying HP, but HP is the stupidest thing you can do. (Besides FP of course.)

If you have 16% attack, you can kill them ALL 16% faster. If you have 16% HP, which is almost nothing, you can survive like... 0.5 hits more? That's nothing. 16% more killspeed or survive an half additional hit? 0,5 out of 10 monsters would be 5% more survival probability. And as you know, 16% > 5%.

Arek rings are better as stam rings, because the stamina you get from your jewellery, doesn't multiply with the 20% HP on your A.Bow.

Fire element increases the damage of fire arrow, which is basically your strongest AoE skill.

KeydosBro777 tried multiple speedvalues and checked for which value he didn't have a glitch.

The result was something like this:

BEST speed combination = 38%/88%. That's max quickstep + 8% speedpierce (2x wind B), and the 88% is with fastwalker.

There are some other values which aren't glitchy, but those don't work for both with as without fast walker.

I mostly used 40% (max quickstep+cloak)/80% (maxquickstep+fastwalker). I unequiped my cloak all the time.

I'd go for 38/88% if I were you.

That was the moment I made my ranger; june 2008. I really enjoyed this class, and actually got him to hero at 10th of April 2009.

Talkactive people are good while leveling :P.

Grinding without talking oftenly causes the grinders to stop earlier. They level faster/hour, but they can't level as much days straight as a talkactive person.

Look to my YJ, I used my own RM. Did 99 tot 117 in like 7 days. Then I took a break of over 2 months, and I'm still in that break.

I might have gotten farther with a talkactive partner.

You can't know exactly with just your calculator.

You'd need a character similator to calculate your blockrate and evasion.

When you know that you need to know how hard the mammoths hit you. The character similator will do the job for you too.

Also you need to know how much times they crit you. Idk wether the character similator can help you with that.

Now you know that, you should do (blockrate% × blockdmg + (100-blockrate%) × normaldmg) / 100 = average damage per mammoth.

HP/averagedmg = amount of mammoths.

Now I didn't calculate the criticals yet, because I don't really know what their crit rate shall be.

Check wether the character similator can calculate that for you.

When you know crit %, you should do something like:

block%/100 * crit% = blockedcrit%

(100-block%)/100 × crit% = unblockedcrit%

Now continue as following:

((blockrate%-blockedcrit%) × blockdmg + (100-blockrate%-unblockedcrit%­) × normaldmg + blockedcrit% × blockedcritdmg + unblockedcrit% × unblockedcritdmg) / 100 = average damage per mammoth.

HP / average dmg per mammoth = amount of mammoths you can take so that they hit you dead in 1 coorperative hit.

Take like 50% of that value and they'd hit you down to 50% HP every hit they make together.

So you'd prolly need to take like 30% of the amount of mammoths you've calculated

I'm 120-M 99.99% right now.

When I'm hero I'll make a ranger PvP tactic video I suppose.

Also, ranger levels fast. When you fight people which play as long as you do, you'll be a higher level as they are. This means you'll be a higher level as they are, while you've as often as they have. THAT is the advantage of a ranger.

Now to my questions : How much % Exp do you get per aoe ?

Without all that I get aprox. 0,2% per AoE. I can get more if I got a spawn for myself (like in the video)
