Who might I be? hmm, I'd not pay so much attention to detail when socializing, in business or pleasure. I am always on guard to see if the other person is being at all rude, inconsiderate, condescending...I try to analyze what they say to be sure they are not saying something meant to be mean spirited, but cover it up with politeness.
