They don't own anywhere near enough currency to destroy ours and they have pegged their currency to our so that would be really fucking stupid. Also, who would buy their shit, most emerging economies don't want to trade with them because it hurts the local companies and their economy. Without us China wouldn't have a place to sell.

Like they don't already supply small arms to the entire third world? And so what if they eat into those markets, the U.S. doesn't make and sell those products-COMPANIES DO. Not all those companies are U.S. based, and wait until other countries impose tariffs to offset China's terrible work conditions and collectively stop buying from them to get the Chinese government to start playing fair, and that includes recognizing intellectual property-meaning PATENTS. New gen of automobile?? dream on.

Not sure what you're talking about. This would be the end of free trade with china. India, Brazil, mexico, and the list goes on, would happily take their place. In fact, those countries already have trade issues with China because their working conditions and so forth make for unfair competition. Developed countries don't like them because they steal company designs and don't acknowledge patents. You realize that cutting China out of free trade would hurt China, not the rest of the world.

China has such a strong demand for U.S. dollars it ridiculous. By that I mean, they export so much here, which in the eyes of economists related to a demand for our dollars. (we demand their goods, they demand our dollars) If the developed world stopped buying China would not be able to maintain anywhere close to its growth rate and eventually it wouldn't be able to support its expanded industry. The economy would fall into a decline and that would be the end of the up and coming superpower

Without the blessing of US industries / investors, China could not have taken up so much polluting manufacturing in such a short time while US traders skim the profit via BVI platoform that US cannot benefit from profit tax.. that is also what happen in Europe... the rich will just shift their profit to a place that can help save keeping or generating more while leaving their own countries dying on heavy social costs. Your own rich sectors deprive you from your benefits.

Wouldn't you invest where the most growth is? And BTW it isn't only China that we invest in when we invest in Emerging Markets, Brazil and India have a huge piece of the investment. does a pretty good job with health care for the poor (some of this falls onto the individual states), Unemployment, help for school charges and much more. Tell me, what types of things does China do like this? How many middle-class households does China have? How many in poverty? Do you know the GDP per household difference between the U.S. and China? As far as investing in the U.S., we still invest WAY more in our industry than China's, and, as long as they are U.S. companies, always will.
