how big is your small weimar? I have two a male and a female. Both are blue. Bo (the male) is 95 lbs of solid lean muscle, Bella (the female) is the runt and only weighs 40 lbs. she is 3 years old and the smallest full grown weimar I have ever seen.

Weimaraners are, in my biased opinion, one of the best breeds of dog to take in as ur life partner, but PLEASE, try to follow at least one of the following points.

. Search ur area for a Weim Rescue. There are plenty and these dogs will give u even more love for giving them a chance.

. Search all ur local pounds. You can call them and the Humane Society and just ask.

. If ur convinced on a breeder, visit their place, enough said.

also another thought is that just the weims have sensitive skin. maybe u don't need to be scrubbing as hard during his bath... i noticed that when my weim was a pup that i was bathing him too often and maybe scrubbing too hard.. thats what the vet said to me. dry bath or wipes are great for quick cleanups.. they don't need full baths all the time

ya i got it for a lil cheaper than that... they are a handful, last night my weim threw up !! what do u think is the problem and shes been scrathching alot, but has no fleas and iv given her a bathe, i dont see any rash eaither tho. how old are they when they get full size?

well im thinking the scratching is normal, my weim scratches a lot too specially after he eats, but as for the vomit, id say wait too what happens today, i it doenst happen again, then dont worry about it, but if it happens again just call before actually taking himt o the vet, and ask what they think it could be. as for your last question i ve been wondering that myself, mine is only 6 months, but im guesing they will be fully grown at around 2 to 3 years. im guessing im not so sure.

well iv heard that 6 months to a year they will be fully grown, but im not 100% sure.. a female weim (which i have) will grow up to 25inches in height a male would can grow up to 27inches... how tall is your weim?? female or male?

Our large Male (The Silver one) kept growing until around 2 1/2. We now have a total of four. (Our male and female got it on. :) and we kept two of the puppies.They love their ears to be cleaned as they seem like they are always itching. All four are like that and nothing is wrong. We have also leaned that if you bath them, use something super gentle like baby shampoo, or just water. The short hair is conducive to staying clean. Of course, 3 of the 4 love the pool, so baths are never required.

i have a blue weimaraner.. unfortunately i dont have a pool, and i doubt the public pool allows dogs :P....... ...a problem is the constant biting, shes 8 weeks old  could it be teething? when is it supposed to start and WHEN WILL IT STOP!!! i know its usually playful but she prefers my fingers over her toys, and it hurts :( lol.... any other weim tips would be great

Hahahaha. I know it's not really funny, but yes, it is only temporary. Just give her a swat on the nose whenever she bites YOU. And at this age, their teeth are like little sharp daggers. They, also, will get less sharp with time. They are vey smart and with the nose swat, she will learn quickly. Also, keep her chew toys around, and when she bites, swat her nose, then put her chew toy in her mouth.

If you work with her right, she will be very careful with her teeth. All of ours are very soft mouthed and feel terrible when they accidentally bite one of us while playing.
