So awesome and helpful! I went along with the video and figured out the move, one hand anyway...I'm working on both. But you explained it very well, great tutorial.
@fyers89 - In theory, absolutely! For myself personally, no I can not, not very well and not with hoops. haha. In poi, if you were attempting this split, you would start in that outward butterfly in front, then instead of leading to your shoulders with both hands, you lead with just one. That poi spins one circle behind your shoulder, then moves to the hip. As that first poi is moving to the hip, the second poi follows and does the first shoulder circle. Etc, then you are split :) good luck!
@sarahspecialk very nice! I found this move in a poi spinning book, and transferred it to the minis. I love how all these props have movements that transfer so easily to one another. Happy spinning!
@LARISSAMARSH07 I actually no longer live there - Get in touch with Caitlyn Noelle Martin on facebook - she's my favorite Huntsvillle hooper. Best of luck in Rocket City.

does anyone else spin the area? I'm moving from Austin to Huntsville in March and would love to find some heads to kick it and spin with.
