  • Impressive! If it's good enough for an Aston Martin interior it definitely can work for the job I have! :)

  • do you have a die that would change a tan colour into a dark black?

  • @chronic2point0 yes we do, you can buy it on the Furniture Clinic website. It's called a Leather Colourant Kit.

  • @FurnitureClinic sweet, but does this dye harm the leather?

  • @chronic2point0 no it doesn't. It is the same type of colouring used in the tanneries when leather is made.

  • top video mate very helpful

  • you should come paint my car. should take about a week :)

  • @willisd432 haha what car do you have?

  • wicked job, mate!

  • do you guys have the cinnimon color? i own a 2002 bmw m3 e46 and im thinking to change my whole interior to cinnimon but i want it look like it came from the factory

  • @denisMpower Hi, We have a range of BMW colours on our website. Take a look at the BMW colour chart to see the ones we have.

  • @FurnitureClinic Hi, Can you tell me where to find the BMW colour chart on your website? I can't find it...

  • @FurnitureClinic Googled & found... Thanks anyway!

  • Hi, can you use the dye with the airbrush to paint plastic door panels to match the seats. Thanks

  • @GaryTheMackem Hi, yeah, it works on plastic and vinyl door trims, dashboard, centre consul etc etc

  • will this work to change from blue to white?

  • @mormanman13 Hi, yes you can use it to change blue to white

  • where can i buy the stuff used in this video.?

  • @DjElflaco4 Hi,

it's from Furniture Clinic, in the UK.

  • Ok. Thank you. I have ordered light brown, I think it will be a better colour for a jacket.

  • Ok thank you. I have ordered light brown.

  • Could you tell me the colour you are using in this video? Thank you.

  • @freediy This was a Colour called 'Aston Tan', we matched it especially for a customer who provided us with the sample. You can order that colour too if you want, just type in the name when ordering.

  • Is it the polyurathan colourant you are using? Thank you.

  • @freediy Hi, yes it is a PU coating

  • Ok. I have just purchased some from yo. Thank you.

  • Hi. I have a leather jacket I would like to re colour, would this paint work? Is this paint or dye you are using? Thank you.

  • @freediy Hi, It's a paint. We do ahve dyes available to, but its much more difficult to change the colour of leather with a dye and the results wouldn't be as good.

  • @freediy It would work fine on jackets too.

  • It is plausible to use grain-colour with your airbrush?

  • @rieckeher Hi, as long as it isn't too thick then the airbrush will spray it.

  • What are you using when using the Airbrush?Air Compressor or Canned Aerosol Propellent?

  • Quick question I'm trying to do this exact thing on two furniture pieces, my question is can i accomplish the same or very similar finish by hand?? meaning without the air brush???

  • where can I buy the air brush? e-mail me at atownriders6@aol.com

  • very helpful

  • Hi, the finish used was satin.

  • What type of leather finish was used in this video? thanks.

  • Wow this is exactly what i was looking for. however, im wondering what are the differences between the Matt, Satin, and Gloss finishes?

  • @thumple Hi, Matt is a dull finish and gloss is a very shiny finish. Satin is inbetween them both.

  • Comment removed

  • @FurnitureClinic , what kind of finish was used in this video?

    Thanks.

  • Great job! I've got a jungle green Opel Calibra with grey leather seats, I've always dream to turne them camel color, is it possible? I must say that is almost impossible to find products to do so in Portugal.

  • @korvo01 Hi, yes you can change the colour to camel if you want. The product is a Leather Colourant Kit and we can also send it to Portugal for you.

  • @FurnitureClinic Thanks for your awser, I'll take a look at your web page.

  • hi I just bout a car and the leather seats lost their color completly and they are a little bit damage but not bad I would like to know like how much a job like this cost?

  • @jprez100 hi, the price depends upon how many seats you have and how much work is involved in each. Generally the front seats are in worse conditio than the backs.

If you would like an estimate for us to do the work for you, you're best calling our head office and from there we can put you in touch with your closest Furniture Clinic Branch. Or, if you wanted to do it yourself using a Leather Colourant Kit, just let me know how many seats you have and I can advise on the correct size kit.

  • hi

can you please tell me what have u used to clean the sofa before applying any paint and what sort of paint do u use is that the normal car paint or special polish???

  • @shumylaqureshi

Hi, We use the leather prep & alcohol cleaner before applying the colourant. These are specialist cleaners used to prepare the surface and come as part of the 'leather colourant kit'.

The colourant applied to the leather is a special flexible paint designed specifially for leather, it is called Leather Colourant. Normal car paint is definately not suitable.

  • great video.

do you think you could do the same thing to leather bags?

  • Yes you can. The leather colourant kit works on all leathers - furniture, car interior, clothes, handbags, saddles etc etc

  • wow, thats brilliant

  • how long does the color stay till it fades? or doesn't it

  • The colour is very stable, it won't fade.

  • Would the same technique work for a vinyl sofa?

  • yes, the products work on both leather & vinyl.

  • Would the same technique work for a vinyl sofa?
