You are right, Jesus never claimed to be God, but in John 8:58 he did say before Abraham was I AM, and in Revelations 1:8 he claimed to be Alpha & Omega, and the Almighty. How many Alpha & Omegas can there be? How many Almightys can there be? The flesh that walked the earth was just that, flesh. The Spirit within that flesh was God, the scriptures confirm that over and over. There is only one God, and Jesus is his name.

@OnlyTheScriptures I don't know about "other translations" as I don't read them, but if you study the first chapter of Revelations you will see that it was indeed Christ speaking, read verses 11-13 and you will see what I mean. I don't know what kind of belief you have concerning the Godhead, but too many people read a verse and say "that must mean" when other verses say it is not. I know that Jesus walked the earth as flesh, and that flesh was just that, flesh, but the Spirit inside him was God

@OnlyTheScriptures I know that a lot of people (myself included) don't understand some of the scriptures, but one thing the scriptures are clear on is that God manifested himself in the form of man, and that man was indeed the only begotten of the Father, see 1 Timothy 3:16 Matthew 1:18 says Mary was with child of the Holy Ghost, in John 14:17-18 Jesus tells his disciples that HE is the Holy Ghost. That is but a couple, but there are many. There is only one God, and JESUS is his name.

Jesus claimed to be GOD all through the bible. The problem is, is that most people don't read it. They only go by what someone else says until they read it for a change.

As a Matt Maddix fan I can certainly appreciate the purpose of this particular video- To acknowledge how much time these people spend going door-to-door trying to spread the word about their personal beliefs. It's not judging anyone. It's not saying my belief is better than yours. there is actually not a scrap of evidence that proves the name of jehova was taken out of the bible. In fact the exact way to pronounce His name is unsure. witnesses actually have their own greek translation of the bible which is accurate but once compared to the new world translation it very VERY different. JW believe Jesus and the Father are one. That mean they are powerful. I'm suggest you to read John 10:30-39, It will make you understand that reasoning from the scripture. Oneness and Trinitarian are really really close in belief.Both believe in One God.It is what they do with Jesus is what seperates them.Oness teach Jesus is the Father in flesh,Trinitarian teach Jesus was God the Son.They are actually both wrong but never mind you cannot tell them that.The JW are correct in believing One God but they have a FALSE assumption of the man Christ Jesus..Jesus was a man APROVED,ANOINTED by God,He was not a pre existent angel or angel period

@viper2808 No one can show nor find one scripture where Jesus says "I AM GOD." There are scriptures where Jesus is identified at least 4 times as "The SON OF GOD."
Peter said it, Jesus confirmed it, John said it, and most importantly JEHOVAH GOD identified Jesus as his son at Jesus' baptism.

Add to that, the most common phrase Jesus used was "son of Man" - you never hear Thrinitarians say much about that. If Jesus [the Son] and God [the father] was the same, then how could Jesus describe himself as "son of man"?

@choctaw48 check out Revelations 1:8 notice that it is written in red. Jesus claims to be Alpha & Omega, and the Almighty. What people have difficulty with concerning the Godhead is this; God is a Spirit. He has the power to manifest himself in any way he chooses. He did indeed manifest himself in the form of man, and that man was his only begotten son. He is also omnipresent, so he was in Heaven, and walking the earth at the same time. Seems impossible to us, but it's not for him.

You are right, Jesus never claimed to be God, but in John 8:58 he did say before Abraham was I AM, and in Revelations 1:8 he claimed to be Alpha & Omega, and the Almighty. How many Alpha & Omegas can there be? How many Almightys can there be? The flesh that walked the earth was just that, flesh. The Spirit within that flesh was God, the scriptures confirm that over and over. There is only one God, and Jesus is his name.

@OnlyTheScriptures I don't know about "other translations" as I don't read them, but if you study the first chapter of Revelations you will see that it was indeed Christ speaking, read verses 11-13 and you will see what I mean. I don't know what kind of belief you have concerning the Godhead, but too many people read a verse and say "that must mean" when other verses say it is not. I know that Jesus walked the earth as flesh, and that flesh was just that, flesh, but the Spirit inside him was God

@OnlyTheScriptures I know that a lot of people (myself included) don't understand some of the scriptures, but one thing the scriptures are clear on is that God manifested himself in the form of man, and that man was indeed the only begotten of the Father, see 1 Timothy 3:16 Matthew 1:18 says Mary was with child of the Holy Ghost, in John 14:17-18 Jesus tells his disciples that HE is the Holy Ghost. That is but a couple, but there are many. There is only one God, and JESUS is his name.

As a Matt Maddix fan I can certainly appreciate the purpose of this particular video- To acknowledge how much time these people spend going door-to-door trying to spread the word about their personal beliefs. It's not judging anyone. It's not saying my belief is better than yours. It simply sheds light on the fact that these people dedicate a certain amount of time each month to spreading the word about what they believe to be true. You and I may see things differently- Doesn't Everybody?

there is actually not a scrap of evidence that proves the name of jehova was taken out of the bible. In fact the exact way to pronounce His name is unsure. witnesses actually have their own greek translation of the bible which is accurate but once compared to the new world translation it very VERY different. This just goes to show that NWT is the book thats changed.

Each one of you that commented negatively has watched this video so Jehovah successfully got a witness of truth to you. You cant say you don't know who he is. Don't any of you ever wonder why the name of god JEHOVAH has disappeared from Christianity? TO CONFUSE people into believing Jesus is GOD. You can find Gods name in most bibles at Psalms 83:18 and Exodus 3:14, it was in the bible almost 7000 times until it was REMOVED. We just put it back where it Belongs.

You guys need to study the differences between the nwt and the Bible, and ask yourself why it says things so differently. The people who re-wrote the scriptures were found to be unable to translate Greek, and Hebrew, doesn't that alarm you? The JW is a cult. Try proving their doctrine with a real Bible, you can't.

Wow, hey i give them credit for going out and reaching people. However, they are being misled about God's teaching. Also, the young guy mentioned "Gods Spirit"??...hmmm....Is he talking about the Holy Spirit??...from that answer he just gave i could have definitely presented some questions regarding the trinity. Maybe it was just me but they seemed somehow afraid and careful regarding their response to the interviewers questions. I am praying for their lost souls.. God Bless them.

JW believe Jesus and the Father are one. That mean they are powerful. I'm suggest you to read John 10:30-39, It will make you understand that reasoning from the scripture. Did Jesus and the Father are becoming one in Bible? Did Bible teaches you that Jesus and the Father are "becoming" one? Did Jesus claimed that he is God in Bible? check out Isiah 9:6, on the prophecy of Jesus' birth, calls him Mighty God, John1:1 (but if your JW you changed it to say and the Word was A god) John20:28 Thomas says "my Lord and My God"... there a bunch more

There is no objection to referring to Jesus as God, if this is what Thomas had in mind. Such would be in harmony with Jesus own quotation from the Psalms in which powerful men, judges, were addressed as gods.

yeah i just started,along with my family going back to jehovas kingdom(our congregation)after we had stopped going 8 years ago and went pretty down south at that time,we all had problems i dont really want to adress right know but we went back,with experience know of how it can be in satans possessed world.i thank god jehova for showing us the way once again and having petty on us.and for all the people fighting on i leave you with this text(galations5:25,26)
