@pimplis75 If you use soap and water, use a mild soap and use only about a teaspoon of soap per quart of water, or you will never get the letters to stay in place.
Wow... again I have gotten spoiled by printing everything on the large format vinyl printer and laminating everything to the substrate. I truely hate weeding, and I have moved to using a breyer roller to apply almost everything but the smallest vinyl letters. Nice vid guys!
Do you happen to end up with bubbles when you are done? It seems like no matter how much prep work I do, I end up with at least slight bubbling almost every time. However, I follow up with these customers, and it seems like the bubbles disappear within a couple weeks after exposed to warmth. Any idea on what I'm doing wrong?
You could be laying down the decal too fast, try smoothing out the decal in small sections, using a credit card or something similar to push all the air out, and make it as flat/clean as possible :)
Very nicely done. Do you mind I use this link for customers that want to install their own graphics? It's pretty much exactly how I apply my graphics, with some nice twists that I think I will use going forward.
i do applications....with or without that liquid, just use water and some soap.

Where can i buy a roll or sheet of this vinyl sticker paper and what is it actually called in the store?
XcapeArtist357 2 years ago
I believe the material you are referring to is called 'pre-mask'. You can order it from TAP Plastics by calling 1-800-246-5055.

you are just not taking your time.
when you squeege do it slowly and with very firm pressure. in a V motion.
this should do the trick.

A level?? How about a tape measure. And i would never use rapid tac.
bucknastyson420 4 years ago
A tape measure works fine if the place you measure from is level. Use of Rapid Tac is a matter of personal preference. It works well for us.

i think you don't need to cut the horisontal cuts when you apply it i do it easiest
bushbosh 4 years ago
You are correct for small graphics. However, for larger pieces, vertical
cuts make the job much easier.
