I don't know about that... if you watch his later 'Bottom' shows with Ade, he still runs around stage and screams like a mad man. :P So much energy for a man his age! But yes, that accident was horrible, so glad he turned out alright.

Yes, definitely check out Bottom - it's Rik & Ade at their disgusting, anarchic best!! :P There's 3 TV series plus a couple of stage shows that were being toured as recently as 2003 (but unfortunately, they've decided to stop now :().
Yaaay, I'm glad. ^^ The whole car thing fit in REALLY well. And I know it's weird, but I think the actress looks a lot like Joanna Going in some angles, so maybe you could use footage of her if all else fails? Er...maybe? I'd never heard of Phoebe Cates until now, but she's pretty.
Now you make me want to see the film again! I remember watching this film as a kid and thinking is a little goofy and wishing they'd make O'Diddy into a movie. But then of course everyone will say it's so much like this one...even though it isn't. Anyway, very cute video and interesting shipping. :D
Hmmm. I'll need to read more of O'Diddy before I judge whether or not they're that similar. I found Lizzie's situation very unfortunate-- especially how verbally abusive her mom was. Add to that the fact that her dad just upped and left? How horrible. No wonder she was a mess. :(
Well O'Diddy is more of a story about friendship. There really was no room for romance in it and it's never occured to me to write any fan fiction in the way of a sequel. In fact I probably wouldn't for fear it would end up sounding like some trashy Disney sequel where the plot is similar except you replace nearly all the characters with different genders. *frowns*
Well, I think in any case where you have two adult characters who express even a modicum of love for one another, it just makes it easier to ship them. I, personally, call that "fangirl fodder". lol. Rik Mayall also sort of gave it a little push, imo. While being a complete brat, Fred had his moments where he acted like a jealous boyfriend. That's something I've always noticed.

Clifford the big red dog it is not. I read it to one group and I swear half of them just weren't listening and the other half fell asleep despite my reading with enthusiasm.
Omg. Well, that's kids for ya. I can't believe I managed to hold the attention of the kids I was reading to. I actually TA'ed a bit for my brother's class when I was in fourth grade. I'd give up my recess time to help his teacher b/c my Mom and I adored her. Such a sweet woman.

That was very cleverly done, I'm not into this couple it is a little wierd for me. However you get mad points for the skill of editing this thing together. Very nice making it look like they were a couple.
Well like Will I just don't see the romance however to each their own you know? I just like the technique you employed here and it looks convincing. I'm just not into this coupling is all.
