on the northbound side there is a hight restriction of just over 13ft. i had to use the woolwich ferry on many occasions when i was down there in my truck

I thought about cycling true the tunnel cause the foot tunnel is taking so mutch time and energy, but not after seeing this video. There is not even a small area to the side to cycle.

One of the tunnels always scared me... and it still does! It's the old one, Northbound... once I remember they had roadworks, and it was two way traffic through the Northbound tunnel... scary!

Great video. I remember going through the Blackwall Tunnel when I was a kid. My dad always went on about the sharp corners in the northbound tunnel. I always wondered why only the northbound tunnel has those sharp corners.
