i just had a look on its data at suzuki homepage. the standard has 90hp, and only 165km/h top speed and 12,x seconds from 0-100 with only 970kg? i find that a bit strange

I bought brand new one two weeks ago, and after initial excitement, all I can say is : What a dog of a car !!! It's piss weak, put your foot down and nothing, I mean NOTHING happens. To make it do anything, you have to rev it's head off. Views are limited in every direction, have to duck to see traffic lights. I wasted $20 000 dollars on this heap of ...

you sure you have a swift sport? i have a had a black one for a year now it isnt really a straight line performer although it outperforms most cars ull come across,

its real character comes out on corners and short straights if you have the balls and skill to push it hard that is.

Ok, Sport has 1.6L engine, whole 0.1 (one tenth of a L) more. It cant be that much better. My problem is that I used to have a warhorse, now I'm stuck with this dog... Never mind, I will get rid of it as soon as I can.

@tvobssesed you should read up on the swift sport it is a very different car to the 1.5 but if you dont know that then of course you wouldnt be able to appreciate your swift

@jm3la Ok, I used to have 3L turbocharged engine in my GMH (Nissan RB30 engine). If you really want to know what the car looks like, Google "VL Calais". Now, on that thing, upon applying generous amount of acceleration

the car used to go sideways off the line, accompanied with appropriate amount of tire smoke and ear piercing sound of turbine. I do mechanical engineering for a living, power comes from burning petrol, PERIOD ! I dont think that extra 0.1 would make me happy.

@tvobssesed like i said its not about straight line performance the car is built for handling my main car is a subaru forester sti and as powerful as it is its not as much fun in the corners its something about the little go kart feel that makes the swift sport so much fun comparing it to a car with a 3l turbo isn't exactly a fair comparison thats like saying bees cant fly very well because an f15 is faster. you must of liked something about the car to buy it.

@jm3la Look, I was going for the "economy" thing, $260 petrol bill every month got a bit too much for me. I thought that I can settle down and just drive... Well, I cant !!! I dont care much about the go kart feel. I mentioned my old car just to tell you what I actually like. I realised that I dont like the car after I bought it, I f...ed up !! I regret it every day ! And ! Just for the record : Bees are excellent flyers. But I'm not a bee man :(

@tvobssesed first of all didnt u drove the car before u bought it? second this car is very fast for what it is..1600cc with 125 hp and i can get it under 8 sec 0-100km i raced againest much faster cars like clio 182 cup new clio sport c.crossfire cooper s and swift sport was as fast as them to90-100km..or may be u cant drive a car or u r a just fucking lier proof that u have a swift sport and check my videos i got my proof racing againest clio 182 cup and its not too much difference to 100km

I drove my sister-in-law's Swift in Japan last year. It's very easy to drive and get around, and compact but comfortable. Not too small like Honda Fit. I liked it a lot!

Ive got an MK2 Sky Swift and I love it to pieces. Got in a year ago for £700, 46,000 miles and its never once let me down. The only complaint is the miniscule fuel tank!
