  • Anita was never known for her looks but her album covers tell the tale; she was truly beautiful. In person she turned out to be even more attractive. As she entered her later years she aged beautifully. It wasn't until near the end she began looking like her battery was running low. She was very bright, very witty, excruciatingly honest and never seemed to have any regrets about anything. I always loved her leaving Kenton because the band was too intellectual and classy. What a riot!

  • Anita O'Day was not promoted properly during her career and as a result a lot of people know nothing about this gifted, gorgeous woman.

I sincerely urge the copyright holders of this documentary to either post a low resolution version online or permit Anita's fans to do so & help educate a global audience. Provide info on how to buy the highest quality DVD as opposed to having nothing online. Currently the DVD is hard to find as stores don't stock it. Some libraries have it.

  • "That's just the way it went down..." I need to start putting my many failures in this brilliant perspective. I saw this fabulous documentary when it came out. Buy it today!
