I actually checked out forever 21 and I wasn't impressed either. They tons of shorts with suspender straps and older looking fleece plaid and just because we have a lot of farms in WI doesn't mean girls want to dress up like a farmer

I went in there on Oxford Street yesterday too :) But i was also a little dissappointed after following them for a few years. It was really just too much stuff and was so busy and so hot. If it was quieter, i could have looked around more though. I did end up getting a cute mini floral print dress and then a red cardigan, which i'm quite pleased with. :) I am sad i didn't see you, since i live in Germany and i thought maybe i'll bump into you while i'm in London. :)

There is a 3 level Forever 21 in Waikiki (hawaii). They have several rooms JUST FOR SHOES! Its my dream. I really dont like H&M. I feel thier clothes is off sized and made with crappy materials :(. EVERYONE in the US where i live wears F21.

I love forever 21's clothes. They do go way overboard on the trends like tribal and floral for instince but I like almost everything there. Theres only one store in the state I live in and its 3 hours away but its worth it. It's the perfect size (some stores are WAY to big) and I love shopping there but I just recently went to one in denver colorado on vacation and I got so overwhelmed I had to just leave so it depends ont he store for me. :)

I understand not wanting to shell out the money and the irresistible allure of products that essentially look the same but save you from breaking the bank, but in the end, don't the designers lose out? Buying knock off items isn't a victimless crimes- not only do the designers lose out on an enormous amount of profit, but sweatshops are used to keep the knockoffs prices low and affordable.

I know what you mean about Forever 21, sometimes the clothes can be a hit and a miss but other times they have some really edgy stuff! I got both my black leather vest and cream leather jacket from there before and LOVE them! Their Love and Beauty nailpolishes are pretty good too as long as you don't end up with a defective brush. Oh and their jewelry does tarnish pretty fast so beware of that. A friend of mine uses clear spray paint to stop it from doing that and I've used clear nailpolish too

the quality of F21 clothes has been on a serious decline in the last few years, so I'm not surprised that you didn't really like it!

I rarely go in there anymore.. if I do it's most likely for basics (tanks, tees, leggings, etc) and I know I can always find great jewelry.
