To all you people saying 28 Days Later, Shaun of the Dead and this (Undead) are the best zombie films ever made... Seriously, guys. There are plenty of great zombie films out there, just as good if not better than the ones mentiones above.

Take Romero's Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead for instance, the latter's 2004 remake, Re-animator, Return of the Living Dead, Evil Dead 1&2, Braindead, Cemetery Man, Fido, Planet Terror, [REC], or the TV series Dead Set and The Walking Dead.

the case for this makes it look much cooler than it actually was. who even was the guy on the front... who knows he never was in the movie. you would have to be completely baked off your ass to even understand what the hell is going on. or to laugh at part that where supposed to be funny. i mean fuck it take the people 45 minuets of the movie just for them to figure out you shot them in the head. or you could just slice them down the middle with a fuck steering wheel lock that always works.

Once just to watch the movie, which has all the aspects of a zombie movie that you can enjoy, and then watch it with the diredtor's commentary. And if you still have any doubts as to why it's awesome, I have one word for you: Hot chick in a respirator mask with three shotgouns welded together. It's a sex thang, you wouldn't understand.

@GollumSupernova It's not supposed to have a great script or great acting, it's like ice cream. It's supposed to be cheap and fun. Gourmet ice cream defeats the purpose of ice cream like making this all fancy would defeat the point of zombie movies. It's just supposed to be a good popcorn movie. My other favorite zombie movie is Shawn of the dead. I don't like 28 days later, or the Resident Evil series, or any of those other ones because they miss a huge point and have no humor.

Just saw this the other day, and it wasn't too bad. Generally it's a good idea to avoid like, well, zombies low-budget zombie films. Most tend not to be very good and a waste of time. This one, though, is fairly good. It has decent effects, nicely done humor, and something I've yet to see in a zombie film.  (To those who've not seen it, I'll not spoil it by saying what it is.)

Hm. OK, I'm what one might consider to be a zombie film enthusiast. And this Spierig brothers production which had a one million dollar budget limit...let's just recap that once again, anyone who wants to hate on the Spierig twins...just 1 million dollars they made this movie. And it's one ot the greatest zom flicks ever made. Also, whoever posted that last comment, I have a suggestion for you: take your right winged arse over to Iraq and die for a war which we shouldn't even be in.

I think that's the key here. $1m is such a low budget and yet its still an international movie. As much as it is futile to post against "haters", I ran this film as a projectionist and listened to thousands of people laugh their asses off. How many people can claim that their $1m film made it to the Toronto Film fest?
