Beautiful! Beautifully sung, beautifully shot! I like Peter Gabriel too. My verse of choice would be 'The jaded waves hurled metal at the sky'. It's so elemental.
"all good road trips must contain peter gabriel..." as you said. This appears to have been one of the best. Thanks for bringing it to us, especially since I couldn't be there personally at that time.
poor voice, no feeling for the hidden rhythm. You should give up trying to imitate Gabriels voice. The video is cool, looks futuristic with this cold color-touch. fine
i like this, i think your vocals are great. I love the video with this as well! you have good tone and i like your vibrato at points....very cool dude!
Peter Gabriel really supports youtube and the way it encourages creativity and originality and free expression. I agree with your statement in the description of the video: this is the future of all media, and it will be dominated by the average person - which btw - has not EVER been the case in any era before us!! This is historical... we take it for granted... we shouldn't.
Really beautiful -- gives me chills. Plus, it started to rain as I started listening! Creepy. They should hire you out when there's a drought. At least there'd be good music to listen to in the meantime. :)
Great cover choice. I saw PG perform this live at SDSU Ampitheater in a slow drizzling rain, must have been 25 years ago. It was haunting, brilliant. You did a very nice job with the various angles. I would like to see more of your videos shot from the side with the keys in there like your PSB vid. Maybe zoom in a bit but not so much you cut out the keys.. just to mix it up. The full face shots are intense. I want to see more playing. Your a great talent. Thanks to Youtube we found you. Best
Oh Bravo! This song has ranked as one of my all time favourites since I first heard it aged about 11. (sadly, nearly 30 years ago...ouch!) I believe it was originally inspired by the strange phenomenon of radio signals becoming stronger at night. I'm sure there's more to it that that, but I don't remember (I don't recall...).
He had written based on a failed movie idea called "Mozo" where at night, when the radio signals grew, the people of the world could hear and see the thoughts and secrets of everyone. When the project fell through, he kept the song and used it anyway.
Stunning. This is actually better than Peter's version. I must have been singing that song out loud to myself as long as you have, but you definately mastered this one.
uh, what can i say. you are awesome Tim. truly. the colors, the edits, the cuts. just awesome. i love the emotion. you have a great voice. and an even greater presence.
thank you for such a fantastic video! The color, the tone, the contrast... It was very moving, and well done. Bravo, Timothy & Jess! I would love to see more. ;-)
I think it's a nice cover version. Good job.

This is so bizarre...and overly dramatic...like something played for a gay man's funeral.

Bill Murray couldn't have done a better job.
Put your name in the title as 'performed by' so one can distinguish, eh? Thanks.

I like your setup. Nice idea. You need a producer/friend that can tell you where you fuck up, like the voice multitracking, etc.

tngregory... u are the definition of creativity. I am sitting here just in awe of this amazing rendition of such a brilliant song.
It is dangerous waters one sails upon when attempting to touch something so sacred.
This was wonderful & as some of the comments convey (in compliment to your talent),please compose or show us the way to your original compositions.
You cannot give us the taste then deny us the feast.
All the best to u Sir & email me your works. I am interested in owning them.
