I'm finally working my way through all your videos, and this one is two years old now - I don't know if you ever go back through and read comments, so you may well never see this one... but - for what it's worth, this was one of the most heartfelt videos I have ever seen anywhere.
Congratulations on all your successes - and two years on, you are clearly doing very well indeed! I wish you more success for the future. :o)
I'm not sure where in Japan you're living, but I spent a good part of 2 years kickin' it in Tokyo and Nagano. I was teaching rockclimbing in Japanese at a gym in Tokyo, Eikaiwa in Shibuya, and skiing in Nagano. I saw your "meeting Japanese guys" vid first, and myself being Japanese found meeting girls a lot easier... all I do is approach them and introduce myself in English! I found it tough living there as an expat though... trust me you have it easier, but I loved it there in retrospect.
You just gave me the final push in my decision of trying to apply for Bunka fashion college : ) I hope it all goes well : ) Wish you everything good : )
You're beautiful because you're following what your heart is telling you to do. Boy I wish I could have had the type of life you're having now when I was your age...
You made this video exactly two years ago and had 2400 subs? You now have over 46,000 including myself. You most definitely are living the dreams of thousands and again including my own. I'm now in the process of learning Japanese (don't worry I'll wont ask you if it was easy or how long it took you) and one day go to Japan in the foreseeable future as well either to live there or just for extended vacations. Perhaps one day I'll run into you in Japan and thank you in person.
@Ciaela Very nice video. I am also a foreigner living in Japan, and I can see what you are talking about. Just stay positive and enjoy the beatiful life in Japan.
Stop trying to make people accept you. In Norway I have a lot of coloured friends. When I hang out with them, it's impossible not to notice that they are treated differently, at some point during the day. I have Chinese friends too, same thing. People will always be people, and a bit thick if you ask me. For a smart individual like yourself, it's about finding those other smart individuals, not being accepted by a whole people. "If everyone likes you, you are doing something wrong",
im not a gaijin but i was raised outside japan since i was six... now am 22. four years ago, since i came back, i experienced and still having hard times in adopting and making myself accepted aswell. no matter how hard i try improving my japanese and making myself learn kanji, it is still. i can somehow relate, tho i have the complex situation (^_^;)
you are passionate and delicate and perfect of all, your look and your smile says more than all the romantic songs, I want to be happy and flourish your way

I've watched a maybe dozen of your videos tonight. I think your awesome and very interesting to watch. Entertaining, self-possesed and providing a unique and useful service. Keep up the good work!
and i will probably go back to japan to pursue my dream. not because i gave up to do so in the us but because ive found my identity since i came to nyc and now i wanna start my career in asian countries with the korean bass player i met here. we r recording our music now to prepare for promotion.
would be nice if we can jam sometimes in japan!

hi im a japanese guy living in nyc to pursue my dream to be a musician(well, i should say i used to lol)
first of all, congratulations on ur acceptance to the music school!!!
but to be honest, as some people here r saying, it is true that almost everybody can get into 専門学校 once they apply.

It's been difficult for me since I am Japanese that means I am U.S. resident alien... lol. Seems like the country wants to kick me out all the time. Going to Japan has always been my dream, im holding onto it but i know it will be long until i will make it.
I feel like Japan is my 2nd home.. no1 understands me, they ask me "whats so intresting of japan?"
it takes a lot to make my dream come true. It needs money, and determination.
things, that no matter how hard i try, i dont have.
I dont have the money, and i'll never make it, but i promised myself that i'll keep trying my best.
Thank you Ciaela, ur videos brighten my hopes

I think 3DfxJapan is a Korean.
Please pay attention to Koreans who live in Japan.
Koreans in Japan act as if they are the Japanese.
If there is a Japanese whose friend is a foreigner except Koreans,
then the Korean gets angry.
If there is a foreigner who is friendly with Japan, the Korean gets angry.
