Imagine the wonderment and horror of a person from thousands of years ago, if they actually were resurrected into our society today. Imagine our pain if we were transported 1000 years into the future. Technology will become our new God, but mankind's violent soul will remain a heartbreaking constant. -Steve-
@OceanTownPictures Man's violent soul remains a constant...very well put Steve...might pinch that line one day !! No ..I would not be such a plagiarist (*_+)
..a great piece! Beautiful pictures and music and of course your words and voice are touching me! And you found the perfect character to tell Hypatia´s story, thanks!!
I love the pottery face at 2:39. Beautiful writing, very evocative and great that you used the fantastic BM for scenes. The words and your reading gave a great feeling of walking through the streets of Alexandria. Your images are so clear I wonder what camera you use.
@andrewnorris2 Happen to be online...I have a Canon 3CCD Dig,Video Cam.XM2Pal
if that means anything to you...I love it...it is a kinda pro camera...light tho biggish...will take a few thumps which it certainly gets in my bags..!! Thanks for watching Andrew...
Watching this I am having an overwhelming memory of seeing the artifacts of Genghis Khan whilst tripping on LSD some 20 years ago. Ive never again seen antiquities the same:-)
@1DRock37167 Weird that...but I kinda know what you mean...tho I never did it myself...LSD...I seem to LSD from time to time without LSD....haha...you prob guessed. Talking Sheds...etc..!
Wonderful video. The beautiful girl brings the story of Hypatia to life. How did you ever find her and get her agreement to be filmed? Beautiful filming. Wonderful to see the British Museum. Great work.
Places like this is why I would like to win the lotto and move to Toronto... There is almost nothing here at all. If I here the term, "cowboy poetry" one more time!
This is my fave, definitely my fave...OH yes, it teased at first, gently revealing glorious ruins and climbed to a cresendo and well, suffice it to say...I truly enjoyed;)
Nothing teaches so well as a good example ... we've lost so much of herstory to history ... nice rankling piece, I don't know what to despise more, ignorance in general or evil in particular.
This is cool... the mysterious and full of mysticizm... thx for posting.
