now that senseless people compare her negatively to La Tebaldi, i realize that they both share a similarity in their vibrato that i love, its so gentle and unobstrusive. This aria was beautifully sung

Wow, I don't see the big comparison here. Tebaldi and Pobbe are TOTALLY different artists. I'm personally not familiar with either, but I like them both equally. Pobbe has a lighter, brighter sound that I appreciate, but Tebaldi really sings in to this piece which is always a plus.

Exceptional! What's the point of enjoying just one singer in a role. Tebaldi is a legendary Adriana but there aren't many sopranos, especially today, who can sing Adriana better than Pobbe.

I know. Some people have no logic. Because one person says he likes Pobbe, the other person, a Tebaldi fanatic (in the bad sense of the word) will vote against his comment. Stupid. Youtube brings out the stupidity in some people. I call it "web fanaticism", a new kind of celebrity-mania. Michael McDonald did a really good imitation of them on Mad TV, as the "crazy fan" who would threaten anyone who said anything about his "divas", the problem was he had 200 divas.

Whoa, i seriously disagree. Pobbe caresses each stretch of this aria dynamically in ways, which cannot be compared with Tebaldi's rendition(I like both). Actually, I see very little basis for comparison, besides that both sang this role...and really what does that even stand for?
