Tough looking car. Rear reminds me of corvette. Front reminds me of old Monte Carlo SS. I like it, but I wish they had based it on the late 70s body style. I like the way Camaros and Firebirds looked in the 70s.

No, Not all GM engines are Ethanol compatible. Just some 5.5 v8's, some 3.5 v6 and some 3.9 v6's. The thing that makes a E85 engine different is bigger injectors. and from your post above, carbon fiber rear end? LSD transmission? LSD is a limited slip rear end, not tranny. Id like to see a carbon fiber rear end. the challenger uses the same platform as the charger and 300 chrysler.
Agreed, Dodge's reliability is shot according to Consumer Reports. The only car I hear that is good from Dodge is the Charger right now and that's because they take pride in it. I don't know much about the challenger, but I know it weighs a shit ton, so that's out of the question.
challenger is too heavy... they are both running around 425 on top end models but if I remember the numbs the challenger is weighting a couple hundred pounds more. Both sides are coming out with respectable vehicles but maybe its just my opinion, chevy will take the upperhand on the new market of cars over the challenger.
yea it weighs like 4k somethin. but it also has a number of advantages that will def kill the camaro. it has a carbon fiber rear end and an unserpassed LSD tranny. and the compressions in the 6.1 are monster. and they spent LESS time building it than chevy has. and it's still going to be better.

dodge relys on the hemi on like every model that they can sell. gm has the best engines as far as efficency goes. you guys are just way to partial to one company. do some research.

gm's engine are all ethenal compatable now. that spells S.H.I.T. new gm motors are estimated to reach only 150k in their lifespan. ther's your research smart guy. and "hemi" is just the name of their 350. like chevy uses "vortec". it's all the same.

No, Not all GM engines are Ethanol compatible. Just some 5.5 v8's, some 3.5 v6 and some 3.9 v6's. The thing that makes a E85 engine different is bigger injectors. and from your post above, carbon fiber rear end? LSD transmission? LSD is a limited slip rear end, not tranny. Id like to see a carbon fiber rear end. the challenger uses the same platform as the charger and 300 chrysler.

Agreed, Dodge's reliability is shot according to Consumer Reports. The only car I hear that is good from Dodge is the Charger right now and that's because they take pride in it. I don't know much about the challenger, but I know it weighs a shit ton, so that's out of the question.

challenger is too heavy... they are both running around 425 on top end models but if I remember the numbs the challenger is weighting a couple hundred pounds more. Both sides are coming out with respectable vehicles but maybe its just my opinion, chevy will take the upperhand on the new market of cars over the challenger.

yea it weighs like 4k somethin. but it also has a number of advantages that will def kill the camaro. it has a carbon fiber rear end and an unserpassed LSD tranny. and the compressions in the 6.1 are monster. and they spent LESS time building it than chevy has. and it's still going to be better.

actually the 2010 camaro will come with a fuel injection system that will give u more milles to the gallon, about 23 in city and 25 in highway.

because they wanted to go with their own style. When you think about it, the original
camaro, challenger, and mustang models were just about identical in looks. If anything else, you're 1979 camaro was part of the second fugliest line of camaro cars. This is the ONLY other camaro that looks as good as the original 69.

You know what pisses me off about Ford?? Their solution is to just slap a supercharger on anything! Why are they using such small v8's? Mustang GTs don't even get as good of gas mileage as a Vette, so that can't be the excuse. Pathetic. Also, if you opted for the 725 hp on the Super Snake, you forfeit your warranty (that's what I heard)...how confident of them.

The design of the 2010 Camaro is based off of the 1969 Camaro... And to get technical, EVERYONE (GM, MOPAR, FORD) is copying VW with their retro cars...the new Beetle came out in 1998. Haven't heard about Chevy and Cummins...if anyone needs a new diesel, it's Ford.

Guess what...J Mays (designer of the new Beetle) IS THE DESIGNER OF THE NEW MUSTANG! go to wikipedia and look it up. The Beetle worked so they repeated the idea with the Stang. At least chevy didn't make 6 billion different versions of the mustang. seriously, they had variety...nova, camaro, impala, monte carlo, corvette, etc. Plus Dodge makes a, by far, better diesel than ford. and ford took the rounded look way to far.

I don't care about a Challenger...the Camaro is what I'm talking about. Vette's start at $48,000...that's completely different class of car. The MUSTANG will outsell the CAMARO and the CAMARO will eventually be worth more because everyone and the babie's momma will own a Mustang. By the way, I drive a Z28 and a grand am gt (for the mileage). But right now, driving a Metro would be smart...thanks for the compliment
