I clean my used stumps by sanding them off with a nail sanding file. Or you can use very fine grit sandpaper if you have it lying around. As for what else to use as a stump I have been desperate before & used manila paper that I rolled up as tightly as I could to make a stump. However the tips on these get ragged quickly & they do not sand. You can afford to practice making them & trying them out. How your colored pencils blend will determine the quaility (brand) of them.Hope I helped.
May I ask, how do you clean the stumps? What do you do with stumps that have lots of color on them? What else can one used instead of stumps or Q-tips?
lol. ur background doesn't match.
No offense but it feels kind of creepy.
