@dimaondrayforever Basically Jay made a comment on his myspace WAY back when he was new in korea during his trainee days about his frustration IN Korea, it wasn't to lash out on the koreans or whatever and so some ignorant korean netizens found his comment, didn't even think twice about them and he started getting haters and it got to the point that he just needed to leave to let everything settling down. he left for about a year, but now he's back solo and not part of 2pm

I love 2pm and Jay no matter what happens! I've stuck with them since the beginning and I will forever. Jay will always be apart of 2pm; singing, dancing, doing tv shows and concerts we may not see again (or for a long while) but he's still there spiritually and in everyone's hearts!

It's true no one knows the real reason for Jay's departure. It could be just the Myspace issue or there could be more to the story. It is a bit disappointing that after so many years of training together that NO one in the group has tried to keep in touch with Jay after he left. However, this isn't surprising. A friend who works at JYPE confirmed that they've always treated Jay like an outcast b/c of his ABK background. Same for Khun but producers loves him so other members go along with it.
I support BOTH of them! I really don't care don't care what happened but all I can say is that people make mistakes. But everyone can be forgiven. The future is unknown. Anything could happen (good or bad) so let's just wait and see. You never know what miracles could occur...(^_^)b

There was this myspace controversy first but then apparently Jay admitted to something he did ( I think during the again and again promotions) that was a lot worse than the myspace incident. taecyeon even lived in america for high school he KNOWS that its not a big deal but since he obviously overreacted korea felt his influence and followed him. nichkhun responded much better..

@Elisabieber100 Yeah, I think Nickhun responded better. Nick, Taecyeon, and Jaebeom were the members who lived in America for a period of their lives. I'm kind of upset Taecyeon did not stand up for Jaebeom. I feel Nickhun's comments were much nicer and far more sympathetic-as well as the fact that they just seemed more real...not like regurgitated media explanations. As Nick was even more of a foreigner, maybe he could relate better.

would everyone just back off? first of all, the myspace thing was total crap because he was just a kid and if they wanted to complain about it they should have when he first posted it and not years later. Secondly, if 2pm were such jerks to jay, how come they never got a new leader? did anyone consider that maybe it still hurts to see each other and to remember what they once had and lost? lastly, tvxq and jyj aren't exactly on good terms either but i don't see anyone bashing them over it.

At first, I thought that 2PM and JAY didn't contact each other because of JYP not allowed and forced them. He acted like people would judge him for skinship with another member WHEN EVERYONE DOES IT. Also those eyes are not idol material. It's true no one knows the real reason for Jay's departure. It could be just the Myspace issue or there could be more to the story. It is a bit disappointing that after so many years of training together that NO one in the group has tried to keep in touch with Jay after he left. However, this isn't surprising. A friend who works at JYPE confirmed that they've always treated Jay like an outcast b/c of his ABK background. Same for Khun but producers loves him so other members go along with it.

i was watchin Jay on IS2 then i ended up here. everybody has their opinions/interpretations on this topic. no one really knows the real deal except the victims. seriously tho. i blame the netizens that bashed on Jay's cultural differences/ past comments. Now that ive come back to this topic. i dont blame jyp or 2pm and i def dont blame jay for any of this. Jyp is still a sick producer. 2pm is still 2pm. I wasn't a Hottest when Jay left. I wasn't even into KPop then. But hearing this just brings tears to my eyes. Hearing Taecyeon sounding so angry and hurt about the fact that no one cared, it breaks my heart, truly.
I hate when people are so judgmental about the fact that '2PM hasn't contacted Jay since he left.' Yet no one would understand that pain they went through losing him, the pain they would feel if they did contact. So try & understand that it's hard for them to do so, yes Hottests? <3

First of all, I am a big 2PM and Jay Park fan.
I just need to say..JYP and 2PM could have handled the situation better.
I'm sure YG or any other company would have handled it differently.
For example, look at how well YG and Big Bang handled Daesung's traumatic accident. They stood by his side to help Daesung recover from it.
I wish 2PM and Jay Park could make up, so they could talk again.
It all happened for a reason though. Jay does very well as a solo artist.

@CassieCachi well, no one was exactly telling Daesung to go kill himself. they were more sympathetic towards him. when that comment by Jay was discovered, the entire Korea was against him. he had no choice but to leave. and the 2pm members as well as JYP were all preparing for his comeback after the controversy died down. but b/c of a unknown fault, they decided it'd be better for him not to comeback.
so really, Jay's exit from 2pm was unrelated to the myspace thing. no one knows the real reason

I recently found out why jay left, and it made me so sad... Why would people bash him after four years? I mean he was probably just feeling the pressure of being a super star ( or was he a trainee?) I think that people need to understand that, and 2PM should definitely have him back.

In one of the interviews, Junho and someone else (i forgot who) said they (all 6 members of 2pm) sort of felt hatred against Jay because of the whole Myspace controversy . And they don't keep in touch anymore. Jay Park said in an interview that ever since he left two years ago, he hasn't talked to them once. When I heard that, i sort of felt like 2pm betrayed Jay. They tried to "protect him" by sending him away and now they don't even TRY to call or message him. I'm sort of disappointed in 2pm..
