Sigma isn't necessarily "weak" against e.spark but it's the most essential.

the smart gammer will know to just Hadouken Vile, Sigmas dog, and the first sigma battle. Hadouken=win

Um, its homing torpedoes... You use homing torpedoes against Vile (as was shown), ice shot against the spider (as was mentioned), String Cameleon's weapon against the face boss, boomerang cutters against the third Sigma boss (D-Rex), charged shots against the dog (don't know an actual weakness), plasma shot for Sigma's first form, and rolling shield against the second. And you can restock on lives and energy in the starting pit before Sigma. This video is incomplete and just bleh.

i beat this game 3 times with the secret weapon SPOILER:the secret in the armidillo stage is the hadouken and it can kill any boss with one hit

ok i admit sing cameleon's wepon might work, but i found the best attack to use was storm eagles power, if timed right you catch sigma while he is jumping up to attack you and when he is on his way down for multiple hits.

my god i thought you had to go through that level with just the buster 4 times in a row withouth getting hit to the the hydoken and i thought you had to beat the entire last part with just the same lives or the crawling bugs. Mother fuck i hate rumors

sigma isn't weak against sting chameleon's weapon. use the electric spark, and on the final form use the rolling shield.

@morrisandlola yeah, the chameleon's weapon is only useful if you use it charged, to avoid being hit, since you get lots of damage on that part. The rolling shield in final form should have been remembered!

i remember when i was 5 i played this game and eventually figured out all the weaknesses myself, all the fights, etc... it was a GREAT game, i still play it 12 years later.

The spider gave me more trouble though than Sigma...

Sigma in his first form is actually weak to fully charged Electric Shots and Sigma in his second form is actually weak to that Shield weapon thing (The one you get from armored Armadilo) or atleast thats how I beat him.

I learned one thing when playing Megaman X

Sigma seems hard with all the subtanks,hearts and upgrades until you decide to take him on with only the leg/arm upgrade......
