  • Isnt it better to reel the hose slowly because doing that can burn the pump!

    Still good video :)

  • JT I am sending you a Polaris robot for Christmas buddy. Don't tell your Dad, the pool will be clean and you will have more time to play :)

  • man fuck...I can't get any suction! Question: Do you need to keep the basket inside? Won't the filter pump thingy be filled/clogged with all the leaves, stuff on floor of pool? Thnx

  • @WheresTheAnyKey1 Hey there. There are usually two pipes that "suck" water from the pool. The skimmer is one, and the drains at the bottom of the pool is the other. These two pipes will be attached to your pump. They will usually have valves on them to open or close them. Make sure the drain pipe is closed while you are vacuuming and the skimmer valve is set to open. If the suction is still bad, try setting the filter to "waste"... but be aware that this drain the pool as you vacuum.

  • @chrisporta1987 I've got it, thanks!!! Also, i'm jelous of your boy and the nice dad he has.

  • I've been around pools since eight years old, so he is ahead of me, if I still had my shop I'd need to see him in 12 years time, but I gather he will already have plenty of job offers!!!

  • im not gonna lie either.. this helped me and im 48. Thank you.

  • Thank you! ☺

  • I showed this to my six year old. She is not happy! LOL

  • Ur so cute and I'm glad at ur ages 6 u can do cleaning that pool already.

  • Love this! You have a great website. Your pool water looks amazing! Salt water pool, I'm assuming? Mary Carvell Tri-State Pool & Spa Carbondale, IL

  • They way you are priming the hose is very insufficient. The easiest way to prime the hose is to place the vacuum head over the closest return jet to the skimmer while having left the end of the hose that doesn't swivel out of the water, sitting on the deck near the skimmer opening. Put remainder of hose into pool. Once the way flows out of the non swivel end, then you are ready to vacuum.

  • @deadlyraptor8388 its probably because the kid is only 6 and that this way is the best way for him to prime the hose he probably can only reach the return on the stairs you know.

  • Im not gonna lie. This helped me. And im 15
