My first try it didnt work for me. It was because when i plugged the ipod in i didnt select the "manually manage music and videos box" under ipod options. soooo if any of yall are dumb as me im jus trying to help out

For those that say it asks you to pay, it is true. It will ask you to pay for a subscription but there is also an option for students and teachers which is free. You provide your student email and in a while it will email you a registration code. Download the program and register with the code and wa-la! Everything works great! I am copying my stuff onto my computer at this very moment! woo-hoo! :D

well the way he showed it is you arent directly adding it itunes. Youre putting them in a folder in your "my music" and then putting it into itunes. which it does not cost you for.what type of ipod? because i have a touch and i guess it has changed after a while because mine didnt directly say "media" at 2:35 it was under file systems, then click music and it showed the files under ipod control.

If you have a College email address that is still valid, you may obtain Diskaid for FREE. Just go to the link in chansel's description above, click on the Educational tab, and you should see Free DiskAid Educational License Program. Scroll down, give an email address (ending in ".edu") as well as a/your name. verify the email and walla! Free Diskaid!

you dont need that. just on your computer search for folder options open that tab, select view, click show hidden folders, then go to the ipo and click ipod control, then click music and there is your folder with the music.
