While it does look like water kefir, it doesn't mean that it is(although I would bet that it has overlapping microorganisms). I would like to know how much you get per purchase, because with that amount you can make more than two gallons at a time provided you leave it out for a little bit longer.
Loads of people gave these in the 70's , we had one for ages. Memories.....
