  • Hey i really need ya help, im 12.5 and i do the matrix workout (Back,Chest,legs,arms) & alot of cardio and follow most of ur vids,i have a personal trainer, i do alot of bicep and core workouts, i mean alot, and most exersises i lift 20 kgs or dumbells 5kg i also do 25-50 reps of forearm things a day doing 5kg, i have an ab roller thing and i do 20 reps X2 a week (cus it hurts alot) i do a fair bit of normal workouts, i dont do much sports, but i do, do parkour at school, should i be doing this?

  • I dont know if u were cheating because u were tired or if that really how you do flies, but that was, i dont want to say bad ill just say different then the traditional flies, your arm was 90 degrees it almost looked like you were doing a dumbell press but your hands were turned inword. Could Someone explain the flies

    You mention supersets. So i do as you said 4 sets of each exercise with 30-45 sec rest between each set. How many reps do you use for each exercise ? I mean usally when i do supersets i do 5 sets of 6 reps with heavy weight and less rest. i Countet 10 on your first barbell press. :)

  • Mike, was just wandering someone asked if you taake roids which of course you don't, you also don't take any supplements, so I was told that you should ideally have a meal 15 minutes after the workout but the majority of us on't get home within the 'window of oppurtunity' what would you do then? cheers love the channel

  • @SuperJoeeeeeeee if you do them properly and you don't go too fast, then getting lower is better if you want to really stretch the muscles. Sure that is going to work, but he isn't getting the most out of a dip. P.S. He was getting 90 degrees some of the time.

  • @tariondefon lol bullshit maximizer, all you need is a proper diet with excess around maintenence + 200kcal, then proper compound exercises. It aint rocket science, compound exercises like bench press and dips build most muscles. Split training 3 times a week with 10-12 sets per muscle group, proper diet and lots of sleep is enough to get bigger. Muscle maximizer is just old working stuff put wrapped in "new" box, thats it.

  • @v5mark well whats 45 + 45?... 90.. multiply that by 2 = 180, plus 45lbs. ( the bar ) and all together its 225lbs.

  • A warm up set is with light weight a little less reps.

  • @stephenroberton Lower weight is a good warm up, maybe a set of about 12-15 of light weight. 2 sets if you are sore

    and if so wouldnt having a different chest work out other then one of them be a little better? like incline or decline bench press?

  • @bdfchm How much weight are you using for bench pressing? I usually lift about 80-90lbs (haven't been in the gym in a while, but) which is weak for my actual body weight which is about 220lbs. I start usually at around 60-70lbs for a warm-up then go heavy. Then I go heavy, personally I'm roughly at 80lbs 7-10 reps/3 sets to lean muscle (burn fat). 11-15 reps/ 3 sets will "build" muscle mass. BREATHING IS THE KEY! Trainers and weight-lifters CANNOT stress this enough.

  • @kazell09 Also DO NOT do the same exercises everyday. You WILL "plateau" your progress. You need muscle confusion.

  • a couple questions, please: do you do 4 sets of bench presses THEN move onto 4 sets of D. presses and so on? or do you do 1 set of each of the 4 exercises in a row then return to bench presses for ur 2nd set of bench presses? also, if the latter then how are you Not fatigued too much to use heavy enough weights on your 2nd, 3rd and 4th sets to build mass?? And aren't the rest times too short, or am i wrong on that? Thanks =)

  • @krupal654321 When I started with training I was told to do flies with arms bend the whole time, so when your dumbbells meet above you, you arms are like they are when you grab a tree, that way I really feel my chest peak.. however hes not really doing that either, his arms almost become straight when he comes up.. it looks more like a press then a flie to me.. but yes as you say he got great results so Im curious about why he does it this way aswell ;)

  • @thegoldenboy5226 6 pounds of muscle by august is not hard, i did 8kg ( around 20 pound) in 6 weeks, so just focus on legs, chest, abs shoulders and arms, ( so whole body really, but 3 parts of the body a workkout, 5 days a week if you can, i go around 30min to 2hours a workout, ( i also used the tower 200, in 3 of those weeks, which involved half of my workout relly,) just gotta be consistent and dont be to hard on yourself, thats the key, but listen to mike if he answers, he would know more

  • @thegoldenboy5226 most likley 2 many reps, try doing sets of 10, with 40 secs rest until that body part fails to complete a set, with bench press, use a spotter!!  and with the pushups, im not to sure, but oint over work yourself, if you go to the gym more than 3 days a week, dont do all body workouts.

  • Hey, Mike, I just want to let you know that I hit the end of phase 1 today, and I gotta tell you, I am seeing results already from just that phase. I dropped in my body fat percentage by about 3%, and I could see some ab definition with some fat still left with it; I know phase 2 will do the job on making my abs more visible.
