@sek510ia1 of course it it more dangerous in case of an accident, but because of the lighter waight and the powerfull engines, it is way easier to accelerate to hight top speeds and slow down really quick for turns etc, so it is kinda easier to handle. the biggest problem and the big danger on a motorcycle is bad weather and the small size, so people can't see you coming fast in that lane and change into it..

@prima5saeckle I know that on a track it would be far safer to go faster on a bike than in a car, but on the motorway when everybody else is probably going somewhere around 80mph the other problems that you mentioned are the real threats. People are generally quite bad at looking out for bikes as it is, but it gets a lot worse when they're coming at you that fast!
