It's so great when you see these things that you haven't even thought of for forty years or something, and it all comes back. Thanks for posting! Wow!
Anyone remember the Mr. Bubble commercial from the late 70s with three guys dressed as huge bubbles who sang a doo-wop type jingle about how kids have as good a time getting clean (with Mr. Bubble) as they do getting dirty?
@lurch321...I sure do remember that commercial ! Unfortunately, it's not on You-Tube. I seem to recall that there was a website that had audio links of old commercials from the '70's. And that particular ad was on it. However, I can't find the site. Chances are, it is no longer online.
The first 16 bars of this song are missing. "Gonna tell you a story 'bout a spunky little fella, Mr. Bubble was his name. He came out of the Dakotas totin' bubble bath, cleanin' up town was his game.
My mom scared me when I was little. I came home from school and I was very dirty from playing football on a dirt field and she looked at me and said, "Honey, I want you to go upstairs and take you a bath with Mr. Bubble. It' will be very fun for you." I ran away from home.
Anyone remember and have in their files the Mr. Bubble commercial with the guys (in Bubble suits) singing in "Do-Wap 50's" style? I was a kid of the 70's and remember that commercial airing quite a few times.
All I remember is: "Mr. Bubble, Bubble Bubble In The Tub Ba-Bubble Bubble..."
I love to use Mr.Bubble, I just searched this video because I love the form of cartoon, which is very American and gives me the feeling that i am proud to be an American , and I will devote myself to this country, keeping our nation to be the only super power in the world forever!

yep. i got a mr. bubble bath set for christmas from my grandparents when i was 7 (i'm 17 now.) the set included a floting mr. bubble toy, which sits on my bedroom shelf. :)
Anyone else remember the mid-late 70's (?) Mr Bubble commercial with the singing group that looked like 50's greasers singing "Mr Bubble bubble bubble in the tubble tubble tubble"?
i do...."Mr. Bubble in the tubble, will get you squeeky clean, Mr. Bubble in the tubble....." ; THAT was the vid that i wanted to see on here. if anyone has it, put it on...the song was great, and very memorable as a yungin'.
This is great !! I'm a" little" older now, but I have been looking for Mr. Bubble in the powder form, but it seems to only come in liquid now. Anyway, this commercial is GREAT ! Thanks !
Do you know where to find the Mr Bubble ad where the kid is in the bathtub with a bubble beard and says "Madam How Do You Do" and the grandma runs out screaming?
I do recall those early "Mr. Bubble" ads; likely from the early 1960s...there was the boy, his grandmother, and a dog named "Binky", as I recall. Eventually, the boy is tossing around some inflatable toy in the tub which his grandmom mistakes for him...
Does anybody remember the Mr. Bubble ad fromt he 70's where the kids find a dirty homeless guy and bring him home and bath him? The guy is about 35 years old and totally creapy. Am I imaginging this commercial? I wanna see it again so bad.
@thesweetgermangirl I don't think you invented it from whole cloth, but are conflating things. There was a series of TV ads for Soaky in which a hobo type clown (like Emmit Kelly) would take baths with the product in intrusive places, like a fountain, and get chased ineptly by a cop.
God, I love it. Talk about memories. I had a mr bubble spongey mitt for scrubbing in the bubble bath... but if anything, what I remember most about Mr. Bubble was it's great "pink" smell! Who doesn't remember that Mr. Bubble smell?
Mr.Bubble is in wallgreens for some reason awesome :D!
