@krueger231 Beecaue he bacame the "cherry pie" singer. He felt he would be known as the singer of the ONE song instead of being recognized for their entire body of work. He DID not hate it for the reason spyyder976 claims - simply not true. The album was renamed cherry pie, so someone at the lable recognized that song was going to be HUGE - which it was. I don't think of Warrant as being the band that did Cherry Pie. For me, this is just one of SEVERAL songs of theirs I like.... RIP Jani
