The program used is CSStrat.

The difference between this and a standard short rush is the smoke, the timed flashes and the delay in pushing.

If they flash mid, you can still run up cat. The guy on short will be blind anyway so he's not a threat as your team stampede down cat. From the moment you put that smoke on the box, it takes about 10 seconds to get on to the top of short. And also, you don't even need to play the guy in lower. You can smoke that box from T spawn. I just prefer him there for catching any rotators. I reckon if you saw a demo of this, rather than CSStrat, it would be clearer how good it is. Use it or don't :)

This tactic works. You have 1 minute 45 seconds to plant the bomb. You don't need to get in the sites within the first 25 seconds. The tactic works, ridiculously well. All you need is some co-ordination and it will work. You seem to be under the impression that for a tactic to work, it needs to be fast. This is not the case. Trust me.

no one is saying u have to rush..... but trust me, if u play a good team, they will flash into mid and push cat and mid at the same time, which screws the guy lower tunnels. and no the guy picking mid wont get the guy that pushes mid because the ct will smoke it and play in smoke. The tactic works, but u need more coverage from short and mid while the tactic is played out

very very good tactic. i think Fnatic uses it or one like this quite a lot. One my clan uses is simular but the person who goes tunnel and gets rotators alters every round (i normally get tunnels on this tactic). I sometimes awp mid through door and 1 out of 4 times i headshot through door, i then move to outside of tunnels in t spawn and get the people who rotate through tunnels with awp.

This plan is amazing. The only time the guy in B tuns would die is if they push mid to lower or from b site which is retarded. The guy B makes it seems like a delay B, but is actually setting him the delayed short A rush. This is a great strategy.

That strategy is horrible, it leaves the guy staying at spawn wide open to the tunnel on his right. And even if he did have an AWP, what if someone else had an AWP and went down that tunnel? What if the guy going through the B site tunnels gets shot?

Have you tried the strategy? I doubt it. In every strategy there are "What if"s, if you find one that is fool proof, then congratulations. This strategy works. If you don't like it then feel free not to use it :)

Yeah, spawncamp with nothing but AWPs. They'll seek, strike, and destroy. The second time, not so much. But that's when everyone pushes to A site, EVERYONE, and just annihilates all the CTs.

I don't use this tactic any more, it has evolved and we can get a smoke on the box at short without sending a guy at B :)

The guy in B tunnels is in a pretty risky place, why not simply have him throw the smoke to the box from tspawn and let him hang back there to flank the rotation through cat or double doors?

The smoke goes on the box. Not near just near it, but on it. If you can land a smoke on the box from T spawn, good for you :)

Plus, the only risky part is if one pushes from B. Lower should be called by the awper if yer awper is shit enough to let him get in there in the first place :)

Anyway, adapt as you see fit. Its a pretty solid tactic as it is, but changes can always be made to suit your team's style.
