@MrJackanthony well actually you plug the output on your gt-10 into your amp's Return. And that means that your guitar is now plugged into the gt-10 that is plugged into the amp. So basically your amp is a speaker now. It will give you nothing else than the effects from the gt-10.

No, you cant. Joe satriani uses an active guitar, with special pickups wich do the screams.

You shouldnt give advice on somthing you are unsure about! They are called harmonics, and you can do it with a FLOATING termolo on any guitar equipped with one by starting the harmonic with the trem pressed down slightly then pull it back. works best on the 3rd fret.

well yes, you don't need any effect to do them, you just have to make a pinch harmonic and rise the pitch of the note with the tremolo (you need a floating bridge like a floyd rose) whammy is for something like the solo in audioslave's like a stone, tom morello uses it a lot.

I've had a GT-6 for about 5 years and it's as fresh as the day I bought it. I drag it around on gigs and to studios and it's never let me down.

I just bought a GT-10 and sold the 6 for $100.00 to a guy who's just as happy with it.
