This is when I first started watching as a kid. I saw Martha Byrne's first week and was hooked for life. I saw Meg Ryan married to Craig then falling in love with Steve. Lily (Martha) and Holden (Jon) were my favorite couple for years. 25 years later, I'm still in shock that it's going off the air.
I've always wanted to see when Lily and Holden first met each other. This was 3 years before i was born!! and atleast 10 years before i started watching...wow!

I dont remember the people in the first part of the clip though Douglas and Marsha? But I was young and it was a long time ago...
Yeah, Scott Bryce played Craig until 1994, when Craig left Oakdale. Then in 2000, ATWT was planning to bring Craig back, but Scott Bryce was unavailable at the time, so they recast Hunt Block as Craig. Most of the fans think that Hunt Block portrayed Craig the best.
I would argue that's pretty debatable. I think Scott Bryce's portrayal of Craig is more popular with viewers that watched him in the '80s and Hunt Block's more popular with a younger, more recent viewership.
Besides, they both had very different takes on the character. Scott Bryce's version (from what I've seen/heard) was more brooding/misunderstood/vulnerable while Hunt Block's Craig was more slick/snarky/witty.
I remember watching this when it aired in 1985. it was funny watching John Wesley Shipp playing a stalker in this storyline, after seeing him play straight arrow Kelly Nelson on The Guiding Light.
This is about the time I started watching ATWT, So I atually remember this(!!); I was around 9 or 10. Means I've been watching this soap opera for over 20 years!!
Holden is the reason why I began watching soap operas!!!
