I wanna thank Pandora Radio for turning me on to Panacea via my Murs and 9th Wonder radio station. Now I have more balance to the BS they play on regular radio.
The album art is trying like hell to describe what we are. What we are here for, and where we are going. We aren't who we think we are people. There's more to it than can be desribed with words accurately. Why? Because it's paradoxical. It's perfectly crafted. By... our predecessors. Who are... us... welcome to our self crafted dream. Enjoy the stay.
@GangsterGumbo Haha, you've read my mind perfectly. I've always been at a loss for words trying to ponder the true meaning behind our existence. But I guess some things are better off not knowing...
peace selfcannibal, this is k-murdock from Panacea. to answer your ?m, i have sampled CT for another track but the song on our album doesnt use any samples from the game only i tried to imitate the intro screen with the clock ticking back and forth in the intro of the song, listen to the hi-hats tick and you'll see... plus Raw P loved the title so stuck with it when i gave him the beat!
whoa, i thought these videos were uploaded by fans and not the actual musicians. good job with the music. I love CT too... Have any other games influenced the stuff you do?
yeah i can hear what you say about the hi hats, they do sound like the pendulum does at the start of the main title screen. But i kind of find the lead sound starting at 0:32 very familiar. I mean... it's similar and reminds me of something in the CT soundtrack but not enough to be able to tell which song it's coming from or trying to sound like...
Anyway, i just knew something about this reminded me of chrono trigger and i had to ask and your answer made me realize there is a lot of intention and dedication behind the beats you are making. I liked this stuff as it was but, since i am also a video game nut, this adds another layer to the music and makes it even more appealing to me. Thanks for the answer!
